Adeline - Paris66€
Trusted teacher: Hello! I am a classically trained singer with a DEM in Singing and a Bachelor's degree in Musicology. Specializing in breath and breathing techniques as well as singer's posture, I also have Feldenkrais training. Having returned to Paris after teaching singing at the Münchner Musikhoschule and the Genima Musikinstitut in Munich, Germany, I have been giving lessons in operatic singing and vocal technique for 20 years. Beginners are welcome! I teach in a cheerful atmosphere. The relaxed approach to singing within a rigorous yet supportive framework quickly leads us to the pleasure of fully expressing ourselves and freeing our voices while developing our personalities. Breath control and vocal technique mastery bring confidence and motivation. Students will be able to discover the full range of their vocal tessitura and develop their vocal abilities, enabling them to sing with pleasure and ease, and to freely express their interpretation. Each lesson begins with body awareness and posture, coordination and freedom of movement. We then "awaken" our breath to establish deep, low diaphragmatic breathing. Vocal work begins with phonation exercises to connect breath and vocal production, and vocal exercises to place one's voice. The second part of the lesson is devoted to singing a piece and its interpretation. I also support you in preparing for your auditions and competitions, offers coaching to learn how to assert yourself and gain confidence and stage presence. I regularly organize sessions with a pianist to sing along to the pieces I've worked on!

Trusted teacher: Are you seeking for a creative and uplifting way to consciously reconnect with yourself ? Transcendental Dance® is a practice that will guide you to embrace your emotions and help you to reach your true authentic self. Through meditative dances, guided imageries, and energy healing modalities. As a body-mind-soul coach, and professional dancer, I'm here to support and guide you in your process of discovering your inner power through: - energy alignment, guided meditation, breathing exercises - self-expression & subjective experience through dance - expanding your heart space, emotional awareness, and healing in movement and dance - release of stress, judgment, and trapped emotions - grounding, self-care, resilience - and more... Dance can be a practice of introspection, transformation, and transcendence of one’s subjective experiences into a worldwide journey. * Instead of suppressing these emotions and creating energetical and mental blockages (that can end up into somatic pains or burn-out): we should pay more attention to these inner warning messages and strengthen our emotional intelligence to be able to cope with the infinitesimal external stimulus and daily-stress of our very fast lives. It can be challenging to sense with clarity what is the origin of some feelings of frustration, unsatisfaction, discomfort, or grief, and it can be intimidating or discouraging to walk alone on that path. It is a safe space to open yourself, to release the fear of judgment and limiting beliefs that keep you confined to an outdated version of yourself, preventing you from becoming who you are truly meant to be and from sharing your light with the world. This class helps you to commit to your better-being, presence to oneself countering wellness procrastination. What do you need to feel lighter, brighter, or happier in your everyday life? What is your self-achievement potentiality? * For who? : For anyone who enjoys movement and dance, and desires a better connection and understanding with their moving bodies. / One-to-one or group sessions. * Where? : Online via SKYPE or at the student's location. The sessions are tailored to the specific needs and capabilities of each individual. * More about the story behind this practice: Transcendental Dance® originated as a personal movement practice and was later deepened through a university thesis at Panthéon-Sorbonne University (Paris 1), alongside ongoing lectures on sacred and healing dance. It is grounded in a phenomenological inquiry into the spiritualization of dance today, often referred to as sacred dance and its therapeutic and inclusive dimensions. The research explores the metaphysical unity between the tangible body, understood as the material vehicle, and the intangible bodies (psychological, emotional, energetic, and spiritual). At its core lies embodied phenomenology: the study of pre-motor movement and the energetic movement of consciousness that precedes physical gesture, revealing the adhesion of the invisible to the visible. This approach does not advocate an escape from the body in order to transcend; rather, it affirms that there is no ascension without descent, and that transcendence is accomplished through full incarnation. Transcendental Dance® thus proposes a post-dualistic vision uniting body, soul, and spirit, integrating human existence within both natural and spiritual cycles, and unfolding as a practice of embodied spirituality, a dancing prayer, and a conscious methodology for personal transformation. Feel free to contact me for any inquiries. Tiffany

Sacha - Paris48€
Trusted teacher: Hello everyone, My name is Sacha, I am a 32 year old professional drummer. I am endorsed by Soultone Cymbals (USA) and Agner Drumsticks (Switzerland). I started drums at the Dante Agostini school, I stayed there for four years and then I studied jazz drums at the conservatory for three years. I have been giving lessons for almost ten years now because I have always loved teaching and sharing my experience! I am currently part of several groups: ABRAHMA (stoner/doom), DELIVERANCE (post black/sludge) we were notably at Hellfest 2022 on the Valley stage and Temple and Le Cha (pop/funk in French). I was also the touring drummer at the end of 2023/2024 for the band AL QASAR (many international dates including WOMAD 2024 in Australia and Sziget in Hungary in 2023) I have rather rock/metal oriented influences, I was part of the group Sweat and Tears for four years with more than five hours of repertoire, resident at the Temple Rock Tavern (formerly Guinness Tavern). I also have experience in events with jazz bands (covers of standards) and jazz/funk with brass section (Stevie Wonder, Incognito, Jamiroquai, new JB's, etc.) I give lessons in the HF studios of the 9th and 14th so that students can learn directly on an acoustic drum kit, which is very important to me. The course is adapted to the student's level and desires, the goal being to allow him to be autonomous on the instrument as quickly as possible by teaching him the technical and reading basics. My method is inspired by the Agostini method but focuses more on learning pieces.

Jade is a truly excellent teacher of the French language with whom I have been having lessons for over a year. She’s is not only a native French speaker, but holds degrees in Linguistics, Teaching and Business, and has significant experience of teaching French over many years. The benefit of this is that she is able to effortlessly teach at any level, with a focus on actually speaking the language in conversation. We have had discussions about things as simple as ordering food in a restaurant to subjects as complex as planning application submissions and urbanism rules (I am an architect). I am certainly not a natural linguist, but through her teaching I have gone from someone who was nervous about ordering a croissant in French, to gaining the confidence to deal with the complex language found in the workplace, and in day-to-day life in France. I would highly recommend Jade, whether you are visiting Paris for a short holiday and want to brush up on some vocabulary, or have moved here permanently and want to broaden your command of the French language.

First, she is an excellent musician. Second she is a patient, and an understanding teacher, who by nature is going to try to do her best to help you out. You feel confident with her and you know you are not going to be humiliated and belittled. She is there to support you. After two years of learning music with Pr Yantong Lin, I can hardly imagine how much she "enriched my life". She made me discover the beauty and subtlety of the music. She made me think musically and not just play notes, and made me discover the "intellectual fondation and beauty of music" that is harmony. A new undiscovered world has been opened wide in front of me! Thank you Pr Yantong for your musical and teaching talents. Professeur à absolument découvrir et suivre!

Very sweet lady who is always asking how she can improve and cater her lessons towards your personal needs! Knows very well the French language and not on a fluent level, but also the technicalities behind it. Is willing to take time with you and work on your mistakes, as well as trying to explain some French key moments that are difficult to understand for foreign language speakers in a way that is understandable. Always makes sure to challenge you and sees how you can improve! Had a very lovely experience :)
