Trusted teacher: I am an instrumental music teacher from London, United Kingdom with a bachelor of music degree from Trinity Music College. I have been teaching one on one instrumental lessons since the age of 16, but have made it a big part of my career over the last 8 years - In London I used to have a client base of almost 40 students. Although I am classically trained, I also have experience in Jazz methods. I strive to make my lessons both fun and engaging, whilst advancing each individual pupil to the best of their abilities.
I teach the clarinet, flute and saxophone for more than 30 years and proudly can say that I helped to improve and gave a new professional path to the hundreds of students in US and overseas. I am holding a Master’s degree from St. Petersburg State Conservatory (Russia), where I studied clarinet and saxophone. St. Petersburg State Conservatory, where I picked up saxophone in addition to studying clarinet. Simultaneously, I worked as a principal clarinetist at the St.Peterburg Symphony Orchestra. Not long after, I won second place in the All-Union USSR Clarinet Competition. Upon graduating from the Conservatory, I worked as the principal clarinetist in Kiev’s State Opera House and soon after was offered a position as a clarinet and saxophone professor at my alma mater, Kiev State R.M. Gliere Higher College of Music. If you want to learn to play the clarinet, flute or saxophone - and more so if your daughter or son does - the most promising way is to find a good teacher and take lessons. Learning to play a musical instrument like the clarinet, flute or saxophone is more than an intellectual process, that you may manage by abstract learning. Very much alike when learning to play the instruments there are a lot of things (how to sit, hold the instrument, your embouchure, how to breathe and move relaxed, how to control a tone) to train simultaneously and these things ought to be checked. The beginning can be difficult, and you can do a lot of things really wrong (and get used to that). Especially for the first hours it is worth to have a good teacher. I am looking forward to teaching you music!

Trusted teacher: Professional saxophonist eager to teach and work to make the best of yourself! Classes are for all levels, children or adults. We follow a working method where you will develop in a continuous and deep way your musicality, way of playing, expressiveness and technique. -------------------------------------------------- ---------------------- Raúl is a Spanish saxophonist who finished his MASTER DIDACTIC in 2018 in the Ecole Supérieure des Arts in Mons. Before, he also followed a MASTER of INTERPRETATION at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels (2015-2017) in the class of Alain Crepin and Simon Diricq. He studied at the "Musikene" (Higher Conservatory of Music of the Basque Country) with Eric Devallon, Tomás Jérez, Antonio Felipe Belijar and Miguel Ángel Lorente. This type of research has been observed in his project for his final master's recital in Brussels where he created a project based on Maslow's theory of human needs hierarchy where he mixes live, recorded music from the dance, light effects and effects under the name of "according to Maslow ..." At the level of his career as a concert artist, he has played in different ensembles (solo, duet, trio, quartet, orchestra ...) and different countries such as Japan ("Suono Italia" 2010), Belgium (2016 Musiq3 Festival) ), Artonov Festival at BOZAR in 2016 ...), France (Dax 2011 chamber music festival) or Spain (Quincena Musical Music Festival 2015, Aste Nagusia 2015, Heineken Jazzaldia 2014, Kutxa Festival 2015, Intercentros Melómano 2010).

Trusted teacher: Music is the best way of communication in the world, the most international language and an easy way of sharing. Teaching means a lot for me; it allows me to pass on beautiful things I have learnt and at the same time to improve thanks to my students' feedback. Music and musical teaching are about joy and never-ending curiosity. My lessons are totally compiled on the student's needs, both time-wise and content-wise, and they are aimed to get quick results. We can work out many different topics together, such as learning tunes, technique, improvising, as well as approaching theory, reading, circular breathing, altissimo register and multiphonics... The lessons usually take place in my studio close by Javaplein in Amsterdam or by my house in Bos en Lommer. I work mornings and evenings as well as in the week end. Saxophone is fun! Contact me and get a first lesson as soon as possible, I am looking forward to meeting you.

Trusted teacher: This course is for anyone that's interested to play the saxophone at any level, from the very beginners to students interested in more advanced topics such as improvisation, both in unconventional ways or more founded on the tradition of Jazz. The course will be adapted to the pupils goals and level, with a demanding but not overpowering approach. The frequency can also be optimized to the pupil's necessities: weekly, bi-weekly or monthly (not less). I believe that the main goal of a mentor should ultimately to make the pupil become his own teacher and establish an empatic two-way learning process.

Trusted teacher: Graduate Professor of the Superior Conservatory of Music Manuel de Falla. Buenos Aires, Argentina. Saxophone and Music Online (Skype), study online in the intimacy and comfort of your home by Lessons on Skype, or in person with Fernando in Paris, France. Please write Fernando for more information.
Trusted teacher: This class includes absolutely everything what the student is interested in terms of jazz and improvised music since the openness of Markus and thanks to the previous experience from CVA in terms of teaching and playing jazz in the Amsterdam Scene. Markus follows a more open-environment learning atmosphere whilst keeping the traditional teaching methods in mind. Technique exercises and information about the improvised music are the 2 pillars of the lesson. Also, its good to mention that the lessons are not what you'd expect from a traditional lesson. We rarely use paper in the lesson and the most important aspect is not the eyes but the ears. Since improvisation doesn't use paper, why would we use it in the lesson?

Amit - Zurich, Switzerland$59
Trusted teacher: My name is Amit, a classical-contemporary and improvisation trained saxophonist. I have studied in Israel, France, and Switzerland. As winner of numerous International music competitions, I had the privilege to play as soloist in some of the best concert halls in Europe and Israel, such as the Philharmonie Berlin, Kölner Philharmoniker, etc., as well as under the baton of several renowned conductors, among which are Zubin Mehta, Andrés Orozco-Estrada, etc. I invite you to join my great passion for the saxophone, no matter how old or young you are! Music is for all.
First of all I love teaching! It is essential for me to teach by transmitting serenity and a desire to challenge both the student and myself in personal musical growth. My teaching system starts from understanding what it means to produce a beautiful sound and how much importance must be given to the dynamics that are directly proportional to our emotions. The learning system I prefer is based on the analysis of our body awareness (rhythm) which is fundamental in the management of the musical materials learned (melodic, harmonic and rhythm materials). Moving with music and being able to transmit music without your own instrument is the basic objective to build a correct musical growth. The topics are: - Developing of the sound; - Ear training; - Scales (ascending, descending, every intervals) with your instrument and with the voice; - Chords (triads and seventh chords with every reverse) played also on piano and with the voice; - Rhythm; - History of music; - Music theory; - Music reading.

The three goals I have as a teacher is first to have fun with it and have a light pleasant lesson that is something we both look forward to. Second,is to convey in the best way what being a musician amateur or professional and performing music is about and finally to help students with understanding the saxophone, the endless possibilities of the instrument with its different sound colors, dynamics and wide range of techniques but also how simple and enjoyable it can be but demanding when attempting to master every detail. For me, it's the best instrument in the world. The lesson consists of different parts to cover in every lesson a number of different aspects of playing to keep improving every week. See you in class!

Trusted teacher: Saxophonist since 1996, I bring saxophone lessons since September 2010, but also solfeggio if you want to learn to read a score. I do program customization, depending on your goals, the learning program is tailor-made and should only apply to the student's pace. For that, I propose various formulas for a follow-up on the long term in your progression, this will allow me to support you in the difficult moments. Because the learning of an instrument sometimes involves obstacles that prevent progress, obstacles that the student will not always solve himself.
