Trusted teacher: Professional saxophonist eager to teach and work to bring out the best version of yourself! The lessons are intended for all levels, children or adults. We follow a working method where you will continuously and deeply develop your musicality, way of playing, expressiveness and technique. -------------------------------------------------- ---------------------- Raúl is a Spanish saxophonist who finished his MASTER DIDACTIC in 2018 in the Ecole Supérieure des Arts in Mons. Trusted teacher: I think of myself as social musician. I mostly like to play sharing music with others. My first priority goes to having an interesting/charming/ resonant full sound. Then i work on how to connect your inner ear ability so that you can play as simple as possible in a way that you can hear it before you are getting to play it on saxophone. We can also work on repertoire based on taste in music of your choice. If we choose some music that you like before actually studying it, this is a strong motivation for the student to go for it ! I am mostly an alto and tenor player but i can teach to any other kind of saxophone like baritone, soprano etc. My sound , technique and lessons are mostly coming from jazz music(blues ,swing , mostly American music of 20s-60s) I assign homework after every lesson about the technique of the saxophone but also the possible tools of improvisation in music.

Trusted teacher: My teaching method is flexible and always aimed at the needs of the student. As well as the instrument technique I would suggest an in-depth study in ear training, theory music and repertoire. The lesson is about teaching by involving the student in a fun and well outlined path, without forgetting the joy of learning and making music. I've being teaching saxophone, improvisation, theory music and clarinet (for beginners) for all ages and abilities for almost 10 years now and, depending on which path the student is looking for, I will be thrilled to share and pass on the knowledge I have acquired throughout my teaching and artistic career.

Trusted teacher: First of all I love teaching! It is essential for me to teach by transmitting serenity and a desire to challenge both the student and myself in personal musical growth. My teaching system starts from understanding what it means to produce a beautiful sound and how much importance must be given to the dynamics that are directly proportional to our emotions. The learning system I prefer is based on the analysis of our body awareness (rhythm) which is fundamental in the management of the musical materials learned (melodic, harmonic and rhythm materials). Moving with music and being able to transmit music without your own instrument is the basic objective to build a correct musical growth. The topics are: - Developing of the sound; - Ear training; - Scales (ascending, descending, every intervals) with your instrument and with the voice; - Chords (triads and seventh chords with every reverse) played also on piano and with the voice; - Rhythm; - History of music; - Music theory; - Music reading.

As a saxophonist I obtained a Master degree with great distinction from the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel, won the second prize at the national Lion's European Music Competition and already played as a soloist with orchestras like the Royal Symphonic Band of the Belgian Guides. I'm currently studying Music Theory and Conducting at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel. I started conducting when I was 18 and highlights of my career thus far include a selection as one of only 24 candidates for the conducting contest at the World Music Contest Kerkrade this summer. If you want to follow lessons with me, feel free to contact me. I'm a very logical person, I always analyze everything I do, which makes it very easy for me to teach and explain something I learned to others. My conducting background also forced me to develop a very concise way of giving feedback and to be very efficient and clear, which is crucial to the quick development of students.
