Trusted teacher: I am a highly motivated and enthusiastic piano teacher from South Korea with over a decade of experience working with students from a diverse range of backgrounds and ages. After graduating from a university in Seoul in South Korea with a B.A. in classical piano, I moved to New York to teach piano for one and half years. I continued teaching piano to foreign students in English after coming back to South Korea until I left to Germany last summer. Since September 2017, I have been working as a piano teacher at this beautiful music school in Berlin. I am teaching piano to 18 students using English and a decent amount of German. I create professional, tailored and individual lesson plans for a diverse range of various students. In lessons, I engage actively with students and focuse on improving posture, developing practice strategies (i.e. utilizing various rhythm patterns on difficult, technical passages), and setting regular practice times, while also building a positive and encouraging atmosphere. I am a strong interpersonal communicator and I am passionate about helping my students grow and realize their full potential. I teach with love, patience, and encouragement, and I have a strong flexibility to adapt to novel circumstances. I give piano lessons at a music school in Reinickendorf in Berlin and I also occasionally offer piano lessons in student's own home in Berlin.
Trusted teacher: I am 24 years old French and I give piano lessons for all ages in French or English. I have a lot of experience: in France, I taught students from 8 to 60 years old for more than 6 years! In Berlin, I give classes for 1 year to two children of 5 and 7 years. I also got my diploma of musical study at the Conservatory of Saint Germain. Contact me so that we can find an arrangement that suits you and / or your children! See you soon! Aurélie
Trusted teacher: Teaching is something I really enjoy. To impart knowledge to a student requires a level of understanding deeper than that of an ordinary performer, and I enjoy the challenge of expressing ideas in a personal way that is relevant to the student. To watch someone's love of music grow as a result of playing the piano is a rewarding experience, and something I always put a strong focus on. If you can learn to have fun at the piano and nurture your love of music it becomes something truly life-affirming. I teach at the Piano Center close to Friedrichstraße, on high quality grand and upright pianos. Please enquire for details. You can read a bit about my performing career below. ... Trusted teacher: Hello everyone, I give piano lessons at Wedding / Gesundbrunnen, but can also move me. Coming from the classical school, I have the heart to transmit a good technique, but I often complete with solid notions of musical theory. Basically my teaching aims to make you self-sufficient when you approach a new work. Reading notes, deciphering, positioning of the body, work of the scales - arpeggios - trills / work on the typical exercises of the Cortot school. Music theory, how to build ranges, alterations etc etc etc ...... We can approach together the classical repertoire, the blues, some notions of jazz, pop music ... Beginners and children motivated welcome. Do not be afraid to jump in the water!
