Mercedesviolin & viola individual lessons, chamber music lessons
I offer violin and viola lessons for students of all levels and ages. Beginners are welcome! I have developed my own teaching approach, based on years of practice with my Master teachers and my own research. I focus on supporting and developing student’s individuality. I am open to meet specific expectations and needs. I play the violin with my students to demonstrate and to inspire them. I also willingly perform together with pupils as well as accompany them during family performances. This makes playing even more enjoyable! I offer group and chamber music lessons. That's the best way to learn how to communicate with others through the sounds of instruments. Students learn how to use music as a way to connect, follow the leader or to train mindful awareness. Playing together supports motivation to practice and improve skills. I teach to improvise. I treat the instrument as a voice to be used freely. I use improvisation as a language, wordless channel to create dialogue or express emotions. It builds student’s ability to play with trust. It allows making music to become more personal.

OscarViolin and Piano lessons in English, Classical/Gypsy Jazz/Klezmer/Celtic Styles
Hello, my name is Oscar and I am a Violin and Piano teacher from the UK, now living in Berlin. I've been teaching and performing on both instruments for 5 years, during, and after my studies at the Royal Northern College of Music. I have taught children from the age of four, up to adults in their late sixties, and I find all spectrums of age and ability rewarding and engaging to work with. Regarding Violin tuition, I am happy to teach up to any level. On the piano I however, I currently prefer to teach up to an ABRSM grade 8 level, and not far above it. My musical endeavours, whilst focused predominantly on the Classical style in my early childhood, have become quite varied and I am a great lover of many different styles. I play regularly in Klezmer bands, Celtic Folk groups and I run a Gypsy Jazz Collective, besides performing with Orchestra's, Small string ensembles, and as a Solo Violinist. Whilst I wouldn't consider myself to be an expert, I thoroughly enjoy guiding people through the early stages of learning to improvise, and I am equally comfortable working with students in this way as I am teaching in a more tradition, classically orientated manner. I look forward to hearing from you! Oscar

FernandoViolin teacher specializing in the Suzuki method
“Talent grows through exercise…” - Shinichi Suzuki I have been giving violin lessons for 10 years, my working method is based on the Suzuki method, the mother tongue method. A child first learns to speak before learning to read and write. Language learning is done mainly by listening and mimicry. For music, it's the same, you must first master the basics of the instrument before knowing how to read notes and scores. Whatever the age of the student, beginner level or confirmed, I offer private lessons of violin and viola. No knowledge or musical notion is necessary beforehand, the theoretical achievements are made as and when the discovery of the instrument.
MarioViolin for everyone! Repertoire provided. ABRSM/Trinity possible
Hello! :) I'm a professional teacher/violinist with a “Master in education” from the Royal Conservatory. I teach either live or online from my studio located in the city center. I can also come at your place if you wish (I can reach different cities as I drive). Music making is guaranteed even through distance learning: you'll be provided with accompaniments and recorded music to support your learning process, giving so the opportunity of experiencing music making at its finest as you'll play often in a duo (violin and piano). You'll spare some money too as I will provide all the needed books and repertoire. You can play from your screen or even print at home the necessary sheets for the lesson rather than buying unnecessary extras. I graduated cum laude in my country and specialized in violin education here in Den Haag. I attended masterclasses and workshops with many celebrated musicians. As an orchestral violin player, I toured all over the world from Europe to China, and played with conductors such as Riccardo Muti, Wayne Marshall, John Axelrod, Pascal Rophè and many others. As a teacher, I have been teaching full-time from 2015 and got very good experience ever since. I have familiarity with all the most common syllabi such as Trinity, ABRSM or Suzuki. I like using technology but also new repertoire with different styles in my classes, I generally follow and develop my own pupil's musical interests. If you are a total beginner without any experience or an advanced musician, this class is suited for you! :)
