Being a graduate and self-taught musician, teaching music for 2 years in private lessons, I am happy to teach for all levels and all ages, to those who are interested in musical study (music theory, musicology) as well as to others who would like just play an instrument. For those who wish, I also offer a private access course around the "blues" and its "picking" techniques.

The guitar is a beautiful instrument that let us express ourselves throughout this gorgeous language called Music. If you are a beginner who wants to learn how to play guitar from scratch this is the right spot for you. We are going to work on your technique, music knowledge and artistic. We can also tackle any song you and specific topic you are interested in. If you considered yourself an intermediate player who’s seeking how to move directly forward to the next step these classes are for you. We will work together on every single aspect and detail to take whatever your level is to the next one. In my classes we work on three different axis. The first one is based on the student music knowledge applied to the instrument, we work on things such as intervals, fretboard knowledge, harmony and improvisational concepts. The second one is based on the technique and the correct execution of the instrument and the third one is based on playing music and polishing details to sound better. Folk or classical acoustic guitar. The teaching philosophy is adapted to the level of each individual, according to the pace of work and motivation. For example, for beginners: Technique of the plectrum or fingers, coordination and correction of the right and left hand. Learning basic chords, simple themes, simple rhythms, reading tablatures (…). For intermediaries: development of rhythm, construction of chords, writing of tablatures, basic notions of harmony (…). Depending on your goals, you can learn, if you wish, to play 60 to 80% of current music from the first lessons, which often use the same chords and the same techniques. If you love music and want to learn violin, guitar, or both, this course offers you the possibility to do it at your own pace, and in a fun way. The lessons will be adapted to you, if you have no previous experience, you will also learn how to read scores and tabs and the basics of music theory, so that you can progress in a consistent way through your musical path. Learn the most common chords and be able to play your first song after just 1 lesson! You will build a solid foundation in guitar playing through carefully selected songs that you get to choose from. Once you get the hang of the fundamentals, you get to tell me which songs you want to learn during our lessons to expand your skills and become more proficient, and I will teach you how to read and play your favorite songs like a master! After learning the more common chords and basics of guitar playing, you will learn about strumming patterns, finger picking, and tabs through the songs of your choice. One benefit of this technological world is that we can find almost anything online if we know where and how to look, which includes most of our favorite songs. All you have to do is give me the names of songs you would like to play, and I will work my magic to help you achieve that goal. Playing the songs you listen to and love makes the lessons a lot more fun and rewarding for everyone. My guitar lessons inspire creativity and help develop new students into world-class players. All ages are welcome! Lessons are customized and catered to the needs/goals of each student.

Composing your own music has always been a very rewarding task. This has never been so true as the present day when you can hear what you compose instantly by using computers to generate and play back your own music. However, to ensure that your music sounds really great there are many principles to be considered. I have had a great interest in composing for over 40 years, composing in a wide variety of styles. Having been a music teacher in a comprehensive school for over 30 years, I have had a lot of very relevant experience in teaching composition to a wide range of different ages and abilities. The class will be personalized to your particular standard and chosen style of composition. If you are a complete novice and have not used computers to create music we can use a web-based programme or a free downloadable programme. On the other hand, if you are familiar with a particular programme that you have installed on your computer we can work through screen sharing and sound sharing to enhance your compositions using my experience. I will tailor-make the class to suit you.

hey! My name is Richard and I give private lessons to all levels. For guitar, it is important that you can improve yourself in a pleasant environment in a fun way where your interests are central. Do you want to delve deeper into a certain style? Do you want to create your own sound on your guitar using amps, pedals, ...? I can help you with all that! Knowledge of solfège or music theory is not required, we can always discuss this in class if you wish, but that is certainly not mandatory ;) I have been playing the guitar since I was 9 years old and for several years now I have been playing in professional bands with which I have been able to play on sugar rock, for example. The lessons would take place at my home in Mol or via webcam. If necessary, we can always agree on something else! Playing the piano stimulates and shapes the brain, increases productivity and concentration, helps overcome stress and depression, improves posture, encourages perseverance and discipline, in addition to developing greater sensitivity by expressing our deepest emotions. With this course, you will learn to get started or develop your skills as a pianist, also working on the bases of musical theory, in a dynamic and fun way. As a teacher, I adapt to the student's musical tastes to work on their favorite genres on the instrument and I also guide them, if they wish, in the composition of their own songs. Classes suitable for all ages, basic and intermediate level.

One of the most wonderfull string instrument is the cello. If you want to learn how to play cello or just to continue improving your skills do not hesitate to contact me. I have a lot of experience teaching cello and for me, the most important thing in my lessons is learn well and enjoy. Ussually, my lesson programme is start with a short warm up (technique exercises) to continue with different cello pieces chosen by the students. I have a lot of pop and actual music cello pieces for all levels. In addition, I'm familiar with methods like ABRSM, Suzuki, Feuillard, Duport, Popper and Piatti.

I have been playing the guitar for 14 years, and the piano for 10 years, vocal training for 9 years. I'm very flexible and I have a lot to give so I provide a lot of practice sessions and tablature starting from our first lesson.
