Electric Bass, Improvisation, Music Theory lessons for all levels

Music is a life journey that can sometimes be challenging and demanding. Together we can set a lesson plan that focuses specifically on the demands and level of each student in particular. After years of being a student myself and having the opportunity to study with some of the most renowned jazz musicians of the world, I have collected knowledge and information on how to deal with many of the weaknesses we face during our lifelong journey of learning music. We will find the right way to learn that works for you and your experience.

The lessons offered:

- Bass Guitar: on all levels, focusing on developing good technique, leaning a lot of music and finding new challenges. Focus can be on any subject the student decides and will take it further from there.

- Improvisation techniques: on all levels and all instruments, you don't have to be a bass player to take that lesson. We will deal with many different ways to approach improvisation in modern music, based on the ideas and classes from teachers like Danilo Pérez, John Patitucci, David Santoro, Steve Rochinski and Bruce Gertz.

- Jazz and Classical Music Theory, Arranging and Composition: providing many different book and different perspectives on music theory, learn how to analyze music and utilize all the ideas and concepts to create our own music and take it a step further. Techniques for arranging and composition, from small groups to big band writing.

- Music of the world: Discover music from all around the world, focusing on learning the styles, the history and the tradition of music from West Africa, Cuba, Brazil, Venezuela, Peru. We will focus on the rhythmic aspect of different genres of world music and we will create an understanding of the feel of each different style.

Bass and Double Bass lessons for all levels and genres
Bass is the key instrument for every band or ensemble since it has the function of being a bridge between rhythm and harmony. The range of styles that the Bass can cover is basically limitless; from a prominent position like in funk and fusion to the background of pop and rock music the versatility of the instrument gives you the unique possibility to explore any genre you're into. My lessons will follow a program tailored to you and your goals. Discover this amazing instrument by learning the songs you love or diving deep into all the important skills that make a great session bass player. With my help you can also learn music theory, reading scores, jazz harmony and improvising. From the very first lesson, you will be able to jam with other people:) "It's easy to play any musical instrument: all you have to do is touch the right key at the right time and the instrument will play itself." J. S. Bach

Learn how to play guitar from a classical guitarist! Complement it by learning music theory.
The class is suited to the student's interests and objectives! Do you want to learn how to... play the chords of your favourite song? Or maybe understand how those chords work and the logic between them, so you can write a song yourself? read music and play classical music? Have you already begun playing but you wish to take it to the next step? Are you super motivated but your body is sore after playing and that keeps you from practising all the time you'd want to? We can work on all of that! Why should you trust me? I got my Licentiate degree with a GPA of 9.46 in Argentina, and I'm also part of Fontys Masters in Music programme, where I received Fontys Scholarship of Musical Excellence. I've also completed 90% of my Licentiate in Composition with a GPA of 9.42, so I know a lot about music theory, analysis, counterpoint, harmony, and form.

VOCAL TECHNIQUE FOR ALL TYPES OF MODERN SINGING, POP, ROCK AND JAZZ SINGING LESSONS, VOCAL COACH, VOICE WORK.
Do you want to know the register of your voice? Can you sing the higher notes without hurting your voice? Learn how to do pass marks? Getting to have a powerful but also agile voice? I am Italian, songwriter, pop and jazz singer and voice teacher with 20 years of experience in music. I offer singing lessons at all levels. My classes are addressed on the development of bodily and vocal awareness which helps to perceive and consider our body as a musical instrument. My teaching method is the result of the synthesis of my experience as a singer and the many and diverse study paths followed. The lesson is structured in two parts: the first half devoted to vocal technique, the second half to musical repertoire. The vocal technique that I propose is a basic technique for all types of modern singing: from postural education to the care of breathing, from the use of the abdominal muscles, to the emission of air to the cavities of resonance. From a repertoire perspective, the course will be modeled after the student's needs or interests, with an eye for the right attitude to hold while you sing and you are on a stage. I prefer pop and jazz, but I can work with any other modern genre. If the student wishes, I can give him notions of harmony and reading music. EDUCATION I studied song with Bruno De Franceschi (conductor and composer of contemporary classical music and musical theater). I studied vocal technique with the lyric singer David Sotgiu (pupil of Luciano Pavarotti), with the lyric singer Maria Grazia Pittavini (teacher at the Perugia Conservatory) and with Cinzia Spata (one of the most important Italian jazz vocal coaches). I studied jazz singing at the Perugia Conservatory with Marta Raviglia (one of the most important Italian jazz singing teachers) and privately with Cinzia Spata. I studied lyrical singing with Maria Grazia Pittavini. I studied pop and jazz piano with Manuel Magrini (one of the most talented young Italian jazz pianists), I studied jazz piano with Alessandro Bravo, jazz piano master at the Perugia Conservatory. I attended masterclasses relating to the world of singing and voice held by: Maria Pia De Vito (singer), Alejandro Saorin Martinez (voice craft method), Albert Hera (singer, vocal coach, circle song), Erika Biavati ( singer), Eleonora Bruni (singer), Catharina Kroeger (lyric singer), Amanda Tiffin (South African jazz singer), JD Walter (American jazz singer), Matteo Belli (actor and one of the most important Italian experts in voice search), Franco Fussi (one of the most important speech therapists in Italy), Roberta Mazzocchi (speech therapist). EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS I have 20 years of experience in music with around 200 concerts between festivals, theaters, clubs and premises, an album of songs, an EP, singles, collaborations with the world of theater, organization of musical events . I lead musical projects in the field of jazz and pop. The passion for singing and song has inevitably brought me closer to the world of education in which I work.

Student at the Brussels Conservatory. From practical lessons to theoretical notions, I know how to adapt to the student and his interests to provide a course that really brings him the elements that will allow him to quickly flourish in the musical field. With already 3 years of course experience in non-profit organizations and in particular, I usually train students of all ages, beginners or more advanced. I am open to a large number of musical styles, current or old, focusing my thought on a "musical whole". I currently specialize in classical and contemporary saxophone but I am also very open to improvisation and live music such as jazz and the styles that derive from it, but also to electronic music.
