JoãoStandardized Testing, Math, English, and Portuguese
I specialize in tutoring math and English for standardized testing, e.g. IELTS (<7), Cambridge (<CAE), and for school exams in Belgium. My ultimate goal is to challenge both the student and myself as a tutor. I wish to help the student to turn the upheavals of language learning around, by assisting them in deconstructing the first hurdles brought up when learning a new language from scratch.
SegolenePerfectly bilingual student (NL / FR) with already 4 years of experience - Brussels
My name is Ségolène (22 years old) and I am a final year student (Master) at KULeuven in Dutch. My mother tongue is French but since I was little I have been at school in Dutch and therefore perfectly bilingual. I'm still a student myself, so it's not my job. On the other hand I like to help children in primary school for any subject or students in secondary school who have difficulties in Dutch, Maths, Sciences or other. Courses for adults are of course also possible. MY EXPERIENCE : I taught three girls for three years. The youngest (8 years old) had trouble in Dutch, the goal was to help her to speak Dutch while keeping a playful aspect. We played educational board games. The second was 10, I accompanied him in his homework and we also played board games that require a dialogue. With the eldest, I started some courses. For example in science, which she follows in Dutch, I help her to understand the vocabulary but also to structure her study. I also gave lessons to a mother who needed Dutch as part of her job. I helped students to pass the CE1D in Dutch, for homework, for several subjects in high school (Maths, Handel, Sciences (WO), ...). By doing a test (on the CLL site) to see which level corresponds to me (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 or C2) I obtained the result C2: "The student expresses himself appropriately in n ' any situation, by dominating the linguistic and cultural elements of a native speaker and knowing how to distinguish nuances of meaning. "

SimoProfessor of Mathematics and Physics helps develop the potential of his students
The success of students and then of science students and the development of their potential is an objective that is close to my heart. The so-called hard sciences, such as mathematics and physics, although often judged difficult, are accessible to all by giving themselves the means and by persevering. It is important for me to share this knowledge and knowledge with others, in particular with high school students. I put the student at the heart of my concerns and the support I provide goes in the direction of the teachers. I have 7 years of experience as an engineer. I worked in the risk studies of industrial systems in large automobile and rail groups. I have skills in life coaching and I am certified as a master practitioner in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). I am bilingual French and English. My experience as a teacher is 5 years of math and physics lessons. Given the current context, I also offer distance courses via the Google meet application. Feel free to contact me for more details.
SobiaPrivate tutoring Math for all education levels (GCSE,O/A-level, IB MYP/DP, etc)
I offer lessons in Maths and since 2018 I have been tutoring 20 students on a weekly base. Since 2019 I am teaching maths at the International School of The Hague as well. I've spent a large amount of time teaching/assisting my fellow students and children (up to Graduate level) basic and advanced mathematics as well as physics. I have great experience in tutoring several students of the International of The Hague and the British school (both primary and secondary) following the IB, EB, British curriculum (GCSE, O-level, A-level). I have completed my Bsc degree in double maths and physics and hold a Msc in Mathematics (with a CGPA of 3.91 out of 4.0) . After completing my studies I have held a tutoring academy for short period after which I moved to The Netherlands. I don’t use standard programs or lessons. Instead, I create lessons based on the student's needs and interests. If needed I will hand out exercises to be done at home and some notes on the lesson. The main thing the students have to see is that they are capable of solving a problem and that they can have fun whilst doing so.
