About Me
I am a tutor based in Douala, Cameroon, with a strong academic background in law, finance, economics, mathematics, and the humanities. I hold an MSc in Law and Finance from the University of Oxford, a Bachelor of Laws from the Catholic University of Central Africa, and a First Class Honours degree in Mathematics and Economics from the University of London. I have also passed the CFA exams and published research in finance and law.
My teaching style is structured but flexible. I do not use a fixed curriculum. Every session is built around the student's specific syllabus, their current level, and their goals. Whether you are preparing for GCE A-Levels, BAC, Probatoire, or university exams, I break down complex topics into clear, logical steps. I focus on understanding, not memorization.
I enjoy teaching students who are serious about improving. I work well with motivated learners who are willing to put in the work between sessions. I also appreciate students who ask questions, challenge ideas, and engage critically with the material.
I teach in English and French, and I am available for online sessions via video call. I provide all materials, past papers, and exercises in advance so that we spend our session time focused on what matters most.
I believe that every student is capable of understanding difficult subjects when they are explained clearly. My job is to find the explanation that works for you.
