I have been teaching Guitar and music theory for many years, and I am happy to teach all ages and abilities.

I would like to help you read music from the start (knowledge is power!) and you will develop technique in both hands. If you would like to take grade exams, I will be delighted to aim for those, whether your preference is ABRSM, Trinity or Rockschool (or another syllabus - just let me know). I have made backing tracks for some of the pieces and songs that we willl be learning - this can make practicing more fun when you are on your own. Any requests or questions? As a composer, I develop my ideas through improvisation at the piano, which, trained through technique and knowledge, allows for a free discovery of one's own music.
So you not only learn to play your favorite songs, but also to understand them and to come up with similar ones yourself.

The lessons are completely flexible, and the focus is on fun and discovery. We can learn to play from sheet music or by ear. We can include harmony, rhythm, and ear training – whatever you prefer.
