Wolof is the most widely spoken language in Senegal, Gambia where it has been enriched by the contributions of other dialects, Arabic and French, which remains the official language. It is experiencing a cultural expansion in the country and is also present in Gambia and Mauritania.

So to facilitate your integration into Senegalese society; it is essential to go through this language because it is the vernacular although there are several beautiful local Senegalese languages but Wolof remains the most used language. this is why I propose to teach the beauty of this language which is my specialty and my mother tongue, I also teach Senegalese and Gambian culture and civilization.

Learning Wolof is offered to anyone who wishes to get to know Senegal, in a professional, cultural or touristic setting, to establish privileged contact with its population.

I am a senegalese and I teach languages like Wolof English and African literatures and civilizations . I graduated in African literature and civilizations. I am also specialized at the master's level in the field of linguistics, particularly in African languages, specializing in Wolof, which is my mother tongue.

I will start with teaching you the Wolof alphabet and some basic expressions to get you started. After that, each lesson will be focused on a specific topic. This will allow us to explore the Wolof language and learn more grammar tips as we progress.

My methodology is to base myself on the courses in a structural and clear way, accessible to my learners to give them a quality teaching and a total understanding of the courses in a cordial and satisfying atmosphere.
My method is very simple, I start by teaching you the most common and most used words and expressions. Then slowly the formation of sentences, conjugation, grammar but also how to pronounce each word well and know their positions in the sentence.
Being a linguist I will train you to adopt the ability to be able to translate all sentences from French to Wolof or from Wolof to French.

I teach Gambian Wolof dialect and Senegalese Wolof dialect.
