Learning Spanish with me means stepping into a supportive and motivating environment. Each class is tailored to your level and goals, whether you’re a beginner building a foundation or an advanced learner polishing your fluency.

I teach both younger students and adults, always adapting the lessons to each age group and learning style. With children, I use games, visuals, and dynamic activities to keep them engaged; with adults, I focus on real-life situations, conversation practice, and cultural insights.

As a native Spanish and Catalan speaker with a background in Translation and Interpreting, I bring both linguistic knowledge and a love for teaching. My lessons combine practical grammar, conversation practice, and cultural insights, so you can truly connect with the language beyond the classroom.

¡Hola! I’m Núria, a native Spanish and Catalan speaker from Barcelona. I hold a degree in Translation and Interpreting, and I also have an official qualification to work with children and young learners. This means I’m well-prepared to teach students of all ages in a way that’s engaging, safe, and effective.

I’d describe myself as warm, patient, and enthusiastic. I enjoy adapting my teaching style to each student, because I believe there isn’t just one way to learn a language. My classes are a supportive space where mistakes are part of the journey, and every achievement is celebrated.

Outside of teaching, I love reading, traveling, and exploring different cultures—things that inspire me to bring creativity and cultural richness into my lessons. For me, languages are a bridge to connect with others, and I’d love to share that experience with you.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Translation and Interpreting (Spanish - Catalan - English) by the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona).
I am currently studying a Master in Multilingual Communication: Cross-Cultural Management in KU Leuven.

Welcome to my online site for learning Spanish as a foreign language.

My name is Jonathan, I am a teacher of modern languages as well as a translator and interpreter. I have 10 years of extensive experience in the field of education and translation. I am dedicated to teaching and teaching languages at all levels, applying my methods that take into account the specific needs of my students both professionally and academically.

Methodology:
Course proposal:
-diagnostic interview and initial level test (theoretical-oral)
Time distribution and definition of teaching methodology:

Je m'appelle Katia et je suis étudiante en langue à l'ULB. Je baigne dans les langues depuis petite. Mes parents sont portugais, donc je maîtrise parfaitement cette langue. J'ai également fait mes études jusqu'à l'université en néerlandais. Je parle aussi l'espagnol, le français et l'anglais. De plus, je fais partie d'une association sur Bruxelles qui aide des enfants à faire leurs devoirs. Je vois que grâce à mes explications, ils comprennent mieux leurs exercices, les parents sont ravis et moi aussi.

Depuis février 2023, je me suis inscrite sur Apprentus. Depuis, j'enseigne le néerlandais à des étudiants de tout âge.
J'ai des élèves en dernière année en secondaire comme des cadres qui veulent améliorer leur compréhension en néerlandais.

À chaque fin de cours, l'élève aura des devoirs si l'élève peut les faire avec son emploi du temps, sinon on le fera ensemble au prochain cours. Les devoirs que je donnerai sont importants, car je vois si l'élève a vraiment compris et s'il sait faire les exercices sans mon aide. Je vais au rythme de l'élève et je suis aussi ouverte à toutes propositions d'exercices de son choix.

Ce qui me passionne par-dessus tout, c'est de voir l'évolution de l'élève et que l'on me dise qu'on commence à adorer le néerlandais. :D

The best way to understand a language is being exposed to it, whether through books, movies, songs or social media. In my classes, only motivation is required. During the first class, we explore your needs and what I can offer you. Outside and during my classes, you are your own teacher. The higher you expose yourself to the language, the quicker you'll master it. I am your coach who will guide you through it and give you some tools along with tips and tricks to master the basics. I am willing to help you as long as you need. If you want my help one hour for French and one hour for Dutch per week, or only 30 minutes/week for Dutch, that is up to you! Additionally, I offer group sessions of maximum 4 persons per session. It is your responsability to look for your classmates if that is something you are up to.
