Since I was young, I have always been passionate on teaching Math and Science to students. During my university years , I worked in tutoring for students and after I graduated I got experience of teaching younger children Math and Chemistry. I would love to continue to follow this passion of mine in the Netherlands.

Sciences can be challenging and abstract, but they have endless applications and help us to have a better understanding of the world we live in. As an Aerospace Engineer student, I understand how difficult they can be, and my personal goal is to make them enjoyable and understandable by using real-life examples that make students motivated about them. I am Lorenzo, an Italian guy studying International Studies in The Hague.
I graduated last year in an Italian high school in Castelfranco Veneto, my hometown.
The school I went to was a “Liceo Scientifico”, characterized for giving an accurate and complete preparation in scientific subjects such as Maths and Physics as well as more humanistic disciplines, for example Latin, Italian literature, Art and Philosophy.
Two years ago I lived for a year in Chile through an exchange program that gave me the chance to study for a year in South America. By staying there I had the opportunity to learn to speak fluently Spanish and to develop a deep interest for South American (especially Chilean) folklore, culture and art.

Struggling with Probability and Statistics? I have been there as a student/tutor and I can give you some guidelines and tricks to overcome it and hopefully to even enjoy it. I am Industrial Engineer and Industrial Engineer, and I did my MSc in the IHE Institute for Water Education in Delft. Besides research, I have had experience as a tutor in my former University and also with High School students.

I am passionate about teaching and my pedagogic focus is significative learning. That is to go beyond formulas and try to understand clearly and consciously the purpose of a particular topic. In a typical lesson we will start with basic concepts, then we will illustrate them with few examples, to later move to practical exercises (learn by doing) with increasing difficulty.

I'm Antoine, a MSc graduate in Applied Mathematics at TU Delft.

During all of my studies, I have tutored high-schoolers and bachelor students in Mathematics, French and Italian.

Now that I have settled in this new country I would like to start tutoring again. So if you are having a hard time in Mathematics (or in one of those languages) at any level, I will be more than happy to give you all the help you need!

I have tutored both face-to-face and via webcam in the past. I am okay with both methods although I think it is much easier to help out during a live session, therefore I'm okay with moving in the the Hague/Rotterdam zone.

I grew up in-between Mexico and the Netherlands and completed a bilingual education in English and Spanish. I passed my GCSE examinations after Grade 10 and attained a final score of 42/45 points in the IB in 2021. After graduating from a United World College, I move to The Hague to study at Leiden University, where I obtained a BA in International Law (summa cum laude).

I started tutoring at 14, but only began doing it regularly four years later at the IB level. My professional experience has also included college-level student assistantships. My approach to learning is influenced by my own diverse background. I have studied under different systems in the Mexico, the Netherlands and France, which allowed me to experiment with various learning methods and discover what works and what doesn't. When it comes to the IB, I especially understand how to structure written assignments (including IAs, TOK essay and the EE) and have several tips to achieve the highest results.

I strongly believe that each student has a unique way of learning, and my objective is to discover what works best for you. Together, we can make the most of our time and make the learning process enjoyable and effective.

Chemistry is in everything around us. From a young age I was interested in science and especially chemistry. Then I saw how my father extracted and distilled alcohol from sugar cane. After that I was fascinated by the world of test tubes, flasks and beakers. After completing my chemistry studies, I worked for 13 years in the pharmaceutical industry in Cuba where I obtained my master's degree in chemical analysis and organic synthesis. At the time, I was tutoring high school students preparing for final exams in chemistry and math. I also supervised high school students for their chemistry thesis.

TU Delft is Europe's most prestigious university for aerospace studies, preparing some of the best engineers. However the selection procedure is tough and demanding, and only those prepared have a chance to succeed.

As a TU Delft student, I know from first hand how stressfull this process is, and can therefore help you succeed in the preparation of these exams. I have previous experience as a tutor back in high school, helping students improve their grades from Cs to As.

Moreover, I have an extensive knowledge on the subjects tested on these exams, having taken them myself, completed the courses at university with excellent grades and teaching over 10 students for the entrance exam.

Throughout the class, I will use a presentation to explain the main concepts of each exam (Maths, Physics and Aerospace Engineering), focusing on those subjects the student is struggling with most. After this, I will help the student complete some practice excercises, and then assign extra practice to complete on their own time.
