I'm 21 years old, I play bass, guitar and drums. I've been playing the bass for over 10 years. I have started my studies at Hochschule Luzern – Musik this year.
I mainly play funk/rock/pop but my style varies from day to day.

I aim to motivate the next generation of bassists and guitarists and get them into music. The most important part of music for me is to have fun. No matter what genre or at what level I am teaching I will always make sure it is fun and motivating.

Currently studying jazz bass at Hochschule Luzern.
I obtained the maturità cantonale 2 years ago. Specialising in Applied maths and physics, with Music as my complementary option. I did my maturità work in "Italian and Music".
5-6 years of guitar, bass, drum and piano lessons at "Academia Ticinese di Musica"

J'ai commencé la musique à 4 ans, et j'ai plus ou moins grandi avec une guitare dans les mains. Vers 17 ans, je suis entré en filière préprofessionnelle, donc celle qui prépare à l'entrée en haute école de musique. Mais je suis devenu assez critique de cette méthode d'enseignement, du sérieux, du sens du sacrifice, tout ça, alors j'ai fini mon cursus et je suis parti m'amuser un peu, jouer sur des vieilles guitares un peu n'importe comment. J'ai écrit des chansons, sorti un album, puis deux, j'ai appris qu'on pouvait faire des fausses notes sur scène et que c'était pas grave, qu'on pouvait s'habiller comme on voulait et dire ce qu'on voulait, j'ai composé avec d'autres musiciens, on a fait des fausses notes ensemble sur plein de scènes et les gens ont trouvé ça super. Maintenant, j'ai bien envie d'enseigner la guitare d'une façon chouette. Pour le moment je crois que je m'en sors assez bien. Alors c'est pas parfait, mais j'apprends à enseigner et je fais de mon mieux !

Je m'inspire pour mes cours du programme de guitare classique du conservatoire populaire, mais en y ajoutant des choses que je trouve importantes à développer (accompagnement de chansons, improvisation, composition...). Mes cours s'adressent à tous les niveaux allant de débutant à moyen-avancé. Il est tout à fait possible de venir sans savoir lire une partition et d'apprendre au fur et à mesure, ou de se passer de partitions et d'apprendre par imitation, l'important c'est la musique et le plaisir qu'on y prend :) et possible aussi d'orienter le programme selon vos intérêts, bien sûr. Ma seule condition, c'est un travail un peu régulier de votre part (mais je dis ça aussi pour vous, parce que c'est mieux pour progresser) !

As a Master’s student in medical biology, I have been playing piano and guitar for 18 years. I can explain to you the musical theory that allows you to understand a piece on which you want to improvise or to understand the idea behind the composition of a piece. I can find you the chords of any song or piece and I have examples of songs whose chords search is particularly interesting. I can teach you classical music and jazz.
I use a piano that provides an automated and complete accompaniment, that is to say that we can play as with a band with a drummer and musicians of any style. This is very convenient.
I also have recordings of impro funk or hip-hop patterns that are what you might call "fire" to learn to improvise with pleasure.
I took classes at the school of jazz and current music for about ten years and had some bands, concerts and jams at the university. I was also a member of the Lausanne University Choir.

Folk or classical acoustic guitar.

The teaching philosophy is adapted to the level of each individual, according to the pace of work and motivation.

For example, for beginners: Technique of the plectrum or fingers, coordination and correction of the right and left hand. Learning basic chords, simple themes, simple rhythms, reading tablatures (...).

For intermediaries: development of rhythm, construction of chords, writing of tablatures, basic notions of harmony (...).

Depending on your goals, you can learn, if you wish, to play 60 to 80% of current music from the first lessons, which often use the same chords and the same techniques. The objectives take into consideration the following points:

-Study of various playing techniques, chords, harmony, music of your choice, rhythm, with reading of tablature, teaching structured around the repertoire you like, technique of developing the musical ear
- Discovery of the neck, notes and basic positions of open chords
- Left / right hand coordination and rhythm exercises for the right hand
- Learning of different pieces of your choice
- Left hand control exercises, speed and precision
- Learning arpeggios
- Work around muscle memory
- Learning improvisation, musical play with others

Whether you are an adult or younger, did you know that with the proper methods, follow-up and advice, you can reach in 2 years the equivalent of what is achieved in 10 years in music school? The passion and pleasure of playing will quickly make you forget the minimum 1h30 of daily practice necessary for this beautiful and pleasant feat. This is the challenge I set myself by offering you these courses.

Practicing classical guitar for 27 years, graduated from the National Conservatory of Limoges, I teach guitar (beginner to advanced levels).

My method is distinguished by a perfect combination of high standards and attention paid to the pleasure of playing.

Passionate about music theory (rhythms, musical notations and other aspects that seem tedious to many), I know how to transmit this taste for musical technique.

The pleasure of play develops when you feel your progress, and these come with regular work. I therefore ask for attendance and regularity of at least 1 hour of practice per day. Depending on the students, the frequency of lessons can be bi-weekly or bi-monthly, and will be defined together, while remaining flexible.

I can also advise you on the purchase of a classical guitar.

Note: the practice of the classical guitar requires short nails on the left hand, and nails overflowing just beyond the tip of the finger, on the right hand, at all times. This allows an inimitable sound quality.
