LaurelineGUITAR and / or VOCAL lessons, VOCAL coaching, CONCERT preparation
Guitarist, singer, poet, composer, performer ... and with 20 years of teaching experience, I am happy to share my experience and my know-how: both from a technical point of view (musical knowledge, instrumental or vocal technique ...) than from a more global point of view: expressiveness, body awareness, confidence, creativity ...
What interests me above all is to guide you towards more relaxation and confidence as well as autonomy with his or her instruments, to accompany his curiosity, to develop his musical sense and give him the means to go towards the music (s) that attract him.
I like to work from what touches you: welcome to those who know what songs they dream of playing, what style they like !!… instrumental technique and music are learned all the better through what we do likes (starting from learning a song to learn a rhythm, reading new notes, knowing more about a style of music, the form of the music etc ...)
I am competent for:
- accompany the learning of the accompaniment guitar (repertoire pop folk rock English speaking French songs of all kinds, trad music, basics of bossa and blues ...)
- teach the techniques and repertoire of the classical guitar: know the different styles (baroque, renaissance, classical, traditional Hispanic and South American, contemporary and so on!), acquire dexterity, seek the sonic subtleties of instrument…
- guide the little ones (from 6 years old) to discover the instrument and the music;
I propose :
- singing lessons: whatever the repertoire targeted, become aware of your body and the vocal gesture, through vocal and body games bring more naturalness and at the same time more control with your own voice;
- vocal and psycho-bodily coaching: specific training aimed at building confidence with one's own voice and expression;
I also support in the preparation of concert or recording: mastery of voice and breath (!), Interpretation, pronunciation, staging;
VERSATILITY and CREATIVITY!
I support all projects that need a guitar AND a voice:
- do you want to sing along? I teach what is missing in guitar, what is missing in vocals and I have a toolbox today full to facilitate the coordination of the two!
- do you want to compose, write songs, or do you have texts but not the chords, you have the melodies but not the words? ... Do you feel stuck in some part of the process? I can help you unwind the thread of your creativity, better understand your gestures, your "dough", find new paths etc ...

VyaraVioloncello Class for begginers and advanced performers
The violoncello is one of the most amazing classical instruments that often gets compared to the human's voice with its colorful sound. The cello has the deep low register of a bass voice and the high angel sounds of the soprano.
In this class, my students will have the ability to get to know the instrument and its possibilities. Together with the beginners, we will have the important first steps in the music theory, solfege, and basic piano knowledge. All these steps are part of the building of a solid basis that will give the child or the beginner the freedom to develop fast and to perform.
As a person that has been playing the cello since the age of 7, I know all the difficult steps that are accompanying this adventure. Because of that, my goal is and will be to support and to motivate my students, to be their friend but also an example of how hard they have to work in order to achieve what they desire.
With my professional experience in the area, I have learned that a good beginning is very important and it needs lots of time and patience, but at the same time for me, it is very important to combine that process with lots of fun and music.
Last but not least I would like to present myself just a little bit (all other information you will find in my profile).
My name is Vyara and I am 24 years old from Bulgaria. At the moment I am doing my Master of performance in Haute école de musique Gèneve-Neuchatel with Prof.Denis Severin. I have graduated with my Bachelor of performance with violoncello in Bulgaria in the National academy of Music "Prof.Pancho Vladigerov" in 2018.
Since I was 7 I began playing the cello in the National music school "Dobri Hristov" - Varna, Bulgaria. There I have been having all music classes such as harmony, music history, music theory, pedagogy, chamber music, violoncello and many more.
Because of that preparation from a young age, until this moment I am a prize-winner of many international and local competitions. Along with my solo experience, many years I have been a part of a classical piano trio, with which I have performed on many stages in Bulgaria and abroad.
For the end of this not that short resume I would like to talk to you, dear parents or to you really motivated music lover.
If you would like you or your child to build its qualities in a friendly, but also competitive surroundings I truly believe that my class is the best place for that! I am looking forward to our first contact!
ClémentThe clarinet, a fascinating instrument! Courses for all ages, all levels, all walks of life.
The clarinet is a fascinating instrument. Its woody timbre, its tessitura close to the voice offers a wide range of musical directions. Whether you want to play classical, jazz, song or world music, we will progress together to connect the song and the instrument. To develop the breath, to consolidate its supports, to feel the rhythm and to shine the melodies, that is the objective!
I adapt my method according to each student but here are the central points of my educational work:
- Warm up: stretching and breathing
- Sound work: beak, held notes, harmonics *
- Technique: ranges, transpositions *
- Repertoire: Piece being learned, reading *, improvisation.
* confirmed students
I attach particular importance to the link between song and instrument. Singing the songs and even the scales improves the musicality, the phrasing, the accuracy to the instrument.
As much as possible, I ask to memorize the pieces. Knowing how to sing a song before playing it is for me the best way to integrate it.
