Reviews (1)

Pantxoa gave me three valuable tips to improve my flute playing in the first lesson. I am also grateful for the useful tips on how I can specifically practice virtuosic passages. It's a pleasure to work with a real professional who is a master of the flute himself. I can also recommend the lessons with Pantxoa to others.

Bonjour, je m'appelle Géraldine. Flûtiste professionnelle, je joue dans un orchestre à Basel et enseigne la flûte et le piccolo dans plusieurs établissements situés dans le centre de Zürich. I've been teaching flute, and music theory for nearly 20 years, both privately and in various music schools. Whether you are an accomplished musician or a beginner, I can help you play the piece you love at your own pace, and achieve your goals. My warm and inviting atmosphere will make you feel welcome and confortable, no matter your skill level. I look forward to meeting you soon!

Laura
Flute and Music Theory tuition for students of all levels
I have played the flute for more than 20 years, and have been teaching since 2011. I offer flute lessons to children aged 8 and up, and adults at all levels from beginners to post Grade 8. I also teach recorder to younger beginners- I find this is a good stepping stone for younger children as it's more comfortable for smaller beginners to hold, and easier to make a sound on. Learn to pass exams or just for fun- many of my students achieve highly in ABRSM and Trinity grades, but some prefer not to take exams and this is fine too. Whatever your level, one to one tuition means that I can tailor my teaching to your needs as a flute player, and my teaching takes into account the reasons you learn an instrument, encompassing a wide variety of repertoire. I also teach music theory- lots of students come to me to help prepare for Grade 5 theory, and I also teach higher theory grades.

Learn from a concert flautist with 30 years of teaching experience!
Transverse flute lessons from a qualified music teacher and concert flutist who has successfully taught more than 200 pupils and students for 30 years. The teaching material is always personalized and ranges from baroque and classical to jazz and improvisation. The lessons last approximately 65 minutes. As the lessons progress, the most important thing is that making music is fun while learning. Both beginners (who cannot yet read music) and professionals who also have a diploma are welcome. Newcomers who have already learned the instrument but haven't had it in their hands for several years are of course welcome. We also play together regularly - voluntarily, of course - to play beautiful chamber music such as duos, trios and quartets.

Delia
FLUTE LESSONS in Spanish, Catalan or English for all ages
Hi! My name is Delia and I am a Spanish flutist currently living in The Netherlands. As a professional musician, I find great joy in spreading my love for music, imparting insights and instilling appreciation for this art. My desire to educate people of all ages and levels stems from a profound urge to share all the knowledge acquired through years of dedicated learning under remarkable flute teachers and fellow musicians. During my lessons, I approach music both technically and artistically. I concentrate on refining essential skills such as intonation, breath control, and different articulations, among others. My aim is to empower students to master their instruments, ensuring that they wield control rather than the opposite way and also, to imbue their musical expression with a personal touch. Hope to meet and see you really soon!

Cooper
Learn Music with Cooper: Sax, Flute, Clarinet, Bass Guitar, Harmonica
I teach saxophone, clarinet, flute, harmonica, and bass guitar online(virtually). I think it's very important from the beginning to find your individual voice on your instrument. Technique is important, but it will be taught simultaneously with artistic voice. One of the great things about music is being to express your version of yourself on your instrument. What's the point in learning scales if you can't play the song you want to play? From day one, we will focus on all aspects of learning, and of music, at the same time. I'm super patient and I love to teach, and I'll cater my teaching style to the individual student. I look forward to teaching you! About me: I started playing music when I was I ten. I was awarded a partial scholarship to the University of Idaho's Lionel Hampton School of Music where I majored in Classical Saxophone Performance, where I won the Outstanding Jazz Soloist award (2004). I then received a partial scholarship to the Berklee College of Music and studied there with a principal instrument of saxophone, and graduated with a degree in Contemporary Writing and Production in 2009. I've spent the last ten years performing full-time, on cruise ships (Carnival, Princess, Holland-America, Celebrity, Norwegian, Royal Caribbean, The World), land tours (iLa Mawana national tour), theatre productions (For The Record: The Brat Pack, Broadway's After Midnight), and independent bands (Samsaya Trio, Vivian Clement Quartet). My performing experience has taken me to 70 countries and all seven continents. I've self-recorded and self- produced multiple albums. I've been featured as an arranger in many settings, including Robert McFletcher's LOVE. I have three of my own shows (A Public Saxophone and other Bedtime Stories, Just Sax, and CBSAXLIVE). While I studied saxophone as my primary instrument, I also play flute, clarinet, harmonica and bass guitar at a professional level. My degree is in composition and recording/production, so I would love to help anyone getting started in that area. I also teach music theory for those interested in learning theory.

Flute Lessons, music theory and study techniques. All levels and motivations are very welcome.
Welcome! These flute lessons are for everyone who loves this amazing instrument! It doesn't matter your level or your motivations! Here you will learn about all the technical aspects of the flute such as breathing-blowing, tonguing, articulation, flexibility, fingering... But I think it is also important that you can have other skills which, in my opinion, are completely necessary for a good musician. For example, we will work on your sight reading, we will analyze the pieces played so that you understand the harmony and the structure... we will work on musicality and style so that you can develop your own musical spirit. We will also work on study techniques so that you can learn the abilities that will make you completely independent. All the music styles are very welcome in this class so don’t hesitate to ask me and I will prepare an arrangement of the songs you love! If you have any doubt please contact me, Let’s go!

To play music is one of the most meaningful forms of expression for human beings. If you would like to experience this art form as flutist, come with me! I could guide you through music of the renaissance and baroque all the way to romantic and 20th century music. My main focuses would be acquisition of flute repertoire and technique. Flute, recorder (individual) or music theory lessons (individual or groups)
I am a music teacher by profession and have had experience teaching flute, piano, recorder as well as subject music (including theory, music history and music in film study) at a prestigious high school in South Africa. I received my BMus degree at the Nelson Mandela University in the Eastern Cape and received tutelage from Dr Erica Bothma and Dr Erna Cloete. I can teach flute and recorder up to an advanced level, and piano from beginner to a grade 5 level. I am also able to teach music theory up to a grade 5 level. I can provide both structured lessons with the goal to play/write an exam, or provide lessons just to learn for the pleasure of playing an instrument. Each pupil will be treated for their individual needs and desires. I can offer my lessons in English and/or Afrikaans. Unfortunately I do not have a piano in my home yet. I have always had a love for music and have wanted to share that love with the world. I look forward to hearing from you!

Serena
Flute lessons - custom learning experience for all ages and levels
One of the things I love most about teaching is building a custom learning experience for each student. No matter what your interests are, I will help you improve your flute skills and learn to play the music you love. My lessons range from preparing orchestral excerpts for an audition to transcribing and arranging you favorite video game music for the flute. I also believe that it’s important to share your music with the world, so I’d be more than happy to help you find opportunities to play with other musicians and perform. My students have performed at music programs such as the Los Angeles Youth Orchestra, Idyllwild Orchestra Camp, the John J. Cali School of Music, and the Flute Center of New York. Schedule a lesson with me to chat about how I can help you develop your interests and reach your goals!
