As a professional musician Katherine has performed with the BBC Ulster Orchestra, the RTE Orchestra, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra. Katherine has also performed with many pop stars including Robbie Williams and provided live music for several productions at the National Theatre. Katherine studied at Cambridge University before undertaking postgraduate performance studies at the Royal Northern College of Music.

I am a vastly experienced violinist and composer with a Masters Degree from the prestigious Lucerne Hochschule - Musik in Switzerland and Postgraduate Degree from Trinity Laban in London. I structure the class around three different aspects:
* addressing technical issues - intonation, bow technique and sound quality, posture

With solo piano performance degrees from the Royal Academy of Music (London) and the Universität der Künste (Berlin) I am a highly qualified award-winning concert pianist with almost 20 years of teaching experience and a passion for education. My musical learning was also furthered by postgraduate musicological studies at Royal Holloway and serious interests in philosophy, religions, history, civilization, literature, poetry, law, languages as well as many other things.
