Private Math and Physics classes for students in struggle
I am a first-year engineering student in the Netherlands. Originally I am from Bulgaria. I have a lot of general experience with math and physics from a few different teachers and a multitude of competitions on a national level on math and physics, as well as astronomy. I feel confident in my ability to teach school level physics and math, as well as advanced math, beacuse I had the chance to study that before I graduated and started university. Due to this experience, am not having difficulties now I would love to help everyone who feels like they are stuck with those subjects.

Tutoring Mathematics A&B and Physics ■ Since 2012 ■ Hundreds of good results
- Professional tutor Mathematics A&B and Physics since 2012.
- Hundreds of good results (recently helped a student with an average of 3-4 to a 9 within a few lessons).
- In possession of a university Master's degree in Applied Physics.
- Co-authored 3 scientific articles.
- 2 years of work experience in high tech business (ASML).
- Internship at American Institute (NOAA).
- Very experienced in, among other things, final exams (VWO/HAVO/VMBO), arithmetic entrance tests (such as for the Pabo), pre-master mathematics courses (such as the Pre-master course 'Mathematics for Pre-MSc' at the University of Groningen).
After working in corporate life I went back to my passion - tutoring. I have a lot of talent for this and I really enjoy doing it.
I teach in a calm and patient manner. I can put myself in the position of the student's thinking process: through my experience I know what the most common pitfalls are and I quickly see where the gaps in knowledge are.
The emphasis during the tutoring sessions is on being able to apply the material themselves, so that the student goes to class and to the exam with the most confidence.
I am understanding, friendly, and make sure that the student feels comfortable during the lessons, and feels free to ask as many questions as possible.
Some reviews:
________
"My daughter Lisa has had 5 tutoring physics lessons from Timen, which has been very helpful to her. Timen is very good at sketching an overall picture of an assignment, which made the material much more insightful for her. Initially, she scored a 6.8 for her VWO school exam , In the end she got an 8.8 for her central writing!"
- Yvonne
________
"I took 6 lessons with Timen and in that time he taught me the basic rules of mathematics, the subject I had to pass for my pre-master. And I succeeded. Timen can explain clearly and knows many good and simple examples so that you understand the basics and can continue afterwards. He is also often available, so that I was able to get 2 extra lessons just before my exam for the last questions I had."
- Jens
________
"I had tutoring for my pre-master at the back. Timen is very patient and can explain well. I completed the course with a sufficient mark, and I am very happy with it! I only had a few lessons, but this very helpful."
- A.
________
"I am following a pre-master's degree at the RUG and on average I received tutoring from Timen twice a week and eventually completed the course with a nine. Timen is very patient and has a lot of knowledge. He has adapted well to the teaching style that suits me best. In addition, he respected the fact that I was still a real beginner in the field of mathematics. He clearly sets his limits in what he can / cannot help in. Highly recommended!"
- Sascha
________
"I am very satisfied with Timen. He gave me intensive tutoring in mathematics for 8 weeks. Experiences: - Patient, committed tutor - Keeps appointments and is widely available - Good price/quality ratio - Adjusts his explanation to your level and your way of thinking - Explains from multiple perspectives."

Physics Lessons, From High school till University level
I have been a tutor for school and university students. I have university degrees in Physics and able to teach Physics from High school to university level.
I tailor my lessons according to the requirements of the student as much as possible. The pupil may indicate specific topics/questions/exam papers that they would like help with and I can provide support by assisting them through tough questions/assignments, explaining important concepts they don't yet fully understand and I can create some challenging questions to help my pupils secure their knowledge.
I can provide extra homework as monitor progress in order to help my pupils even better.
As a tutor I'm friendly, supporting and encouraging. I believe anyone is able to learn anything they want to with enough patience, determination and guidance - and I have an endless supply of these!
I enjoy interacting with people and share my knowledge with them.
Cedrick
Physics and Mathematics Tutor (presential and on-line classes)
I am passionate about physics and mathematics. My goal in a class is to explain the subject in the simplest way possible. Because of this, I consider the student's opinion about my explanations a constructive criticism, which allows me to fit the subject in the particular manner that is most suitable for the student. Further, while tutoring a student, I tend to identify his/her difficulties and help him/her to overcome them. I believe that my great attention to the student and his/her interests makes the difference in understanding the subject that we are studying. In summary, I am always open to discuss the best approach for each student and tailor that class accordingly. I hope I can be useful for your understanding.

Mathematics, Physics, and sub-branches, as well as the physics of the human biology
Context is crucial. Before we learn anything, it helps to understand why we learn. Learning about what led to developments of ideas or concepts, or their applications, often makes the learning process more intuitive and continuous. I encourage questions about and around the material, reflection, and active thinking about the problem. Any level is welcome, I tutored people anywhere from upper middle school to university level, the depth and breadth can be adapted. Lessons last 1.5 or 2 hours and the structure depends on how the student learns best.

Helping with assignment (Science/Maths/English etc.) upto High School
What benefits you get from my Teaching classes:
1) I am not very strict when it comes to extra time. We can extend a bit. +10 mins is no problem. I always think that long sessions with small pauses are better so that you get a grip of the topic.
2) I can teach in group as well as alone , what suits you best. In case you are out for a break and don't want to lag behind in comparison to what is going on in school we, can have some back to back classes in short time, if that suits you.
Teaching has been a long time passion for me. I have taught already some candidates (look testimonials below) and during my colleges days I have held classes with several group of students. After moving to University I was also delivering sessions for my classmates from different parts of the world and I was in-charge of specific experiment for Bachelors and Masters students as well for a year.
About Me
I had Mathematics and Science in my School time where I scored 95/100 in Maths and 99/100 in Sciences (Indian First stage of Scientific Education) and then 95/100 again in Mathematic for exams Just before University. Due to love for machines I pursued Mechanical Engineering and then specialized in Materials Science (Physics and Chemistry of Materials). In a nutshell I am a Materials Scientist.

Mathematics, English, Test Prep Tutoring and Homework Assistance
Mathematics is a subject that a lot of people struggle with and that is mostly because there aren't always good teachers for it. I as a teacher for this subject am capable of understanding the problems any student is having and from there I can choose the way to teach for getting better results.
