I am bilingual in English and French, with Irish-American heritage, and have dedicated the last twenty years to providing academic support, whether for children aged 4 and up or seniors over 85 years ! I have worked fulltime, for the past 15 years, as a language teacher and translator. I was born in Sweden, to Danish parents and live with an Englishman. I teach said three languages to both private and commercial clients, placing great emphasis on client needs and abilities. Cultural knowledge is also very important to the understanding of any language and is therefore included in all courses. The dreaded grammar is the fundamental building block to a language, but I try to make it as fun as possible.......as well as the homework and self-study.
