Music and Cello (violoncello) lessons for people all ages

Learning to play the guitar can be an amazing experience at every stage of the process! My ultimate goal is to help my students to develop their skills and musical understanding by learning and playing music that they like. Therefore I adapt my teaching methodologies to the taste and needs of every student. Throughout every lesson, we will work on three main courses of development: technical aspects, theoretical knowledge, and performative practice. My classes are open for anyone who would like to enjoy exploring the universe of music: beginners and advanced, children and adults, you are all welcome to book the first lesson.

Cello Lessons for all levels: My main goal with my teaching is to share my passion for music with my students. I believe strongly that this passion leads to discipline and curiosity which benefit all other aspects of one's life. Whether or not my students decide to pursue music as their main profession, I believe they have much to gain from learning the cello. Besides the discpline one learns, Music-making in itself is fulfilling!! :) Conservatory Preparation: In my experience as a musician living and working in Belgium for the past 6 years, I have noticed a gap in the musical education of young Belgian music students transitioning from Music academies into Conservatories. Oftentimes, these young music students seeking to enter conservatories do not possess the necessary skill level to enter higher education in Music. Through my private teaching, I intend to bridge this gap by catering specifically (though not exclusively) to these students. I strongly believe that there is a huge demand for this type of teaching which I am capable to provide.

These courses are for any age and any level. Total immersion in music. Classes are aimed at developing the basic playing qualities, technique, virtuosity. The main focus is on improvement of creativity and imagination. Lessons include not only the practical part but also the basic theory of music. For each student, depending on age, level and individual needs, I have an individual approach.

The focus in piano teaching is on technique, interpretation and theory for the advanced. These elements are included in a playful way with beginners. The attention in this process is focused on the individual specific wishes of the student.

Hello! I am Laura and I have a master's diploma in cello. One of my personal breakthroughs has been to build concentration through music, and I wonder if I can help you achieve the same through cello playing. Throughout my teaching experience, I have had both kids and adult beginners, cello as a second instrument, and already started teenagers who wanted to improve further their skills. In terms of my studies this is my story: On the excitement of exploring music and cello, I've traveled and studied in various countries like the UK (one year and a half of my Bachelor's), the Netherlands (master in music), and France, where I currently receive lessons.

My teaching method is flexible, as I can give lessons for a specific purpose (passing an exam, passing a test...) as well as working with people who are just looking to learn an instrument as a hobby. I have experience teaching children from 6 years old up to adults. Depending on the age and the goal you want to achieve with the classes, the lessons can be between 30 and 90 minutes long. I not only give lessons based on my method, but I can also reinforce students who already have a teacher to help them to achieve the work that the teacher has imposed on them by adapting to their way of working.
