Trusted teacher: Hello! I offer private classical piano lessons for all ages. I have experience for more than 4 years with students who are beginners and advanced piano players. I was a teacher for the Young Talent Class at Conservatorium Maastricht 2021-2022. I graduated from Conservatorium Maastricht in 2022, where I had the opportunity to study with Maestro Igor Roma, and Maestro Jeroen Riemsdijk. Throughout my studies I also gained a comprehensive knowledge of music theory, harmony, counterpoint, ear-training, musical forms and music history. I have extensive competition and performance experience with a varied repertoire, from Baroque to Neo-Classical period. I can help you prepare for an upcoming competition, recital or entrance exam. My teaching methods are adaptive to the student's specific needs, so that we can work on improving them. We will work on improving sight-reading, memorisation and basic improvisation. I work with my students to develop their sense of musical phrasing, engage my students in discussions about the music we are playing and more importantly the composer's intent. For specific piano techniques we can work on finger strength, arm-weight, precise control in dynamics and articulation, clarity in fast playing, releasing tension from the body. In addition to my Bachelors Degree, I have a minor in Pedagogical methods and skills, and have obtained a Teaching Certificate from Conservatorium Maastricht. Currently I am available in a studio in Luxembourg City, and at the student's location, in and around Luxembourg City.

A few years later, here I am as a Computer Science graduate from the University of Luxembourg, and I am finally ready and happy to support now your learning and dreams! For nearly two years, I've been tutoring students at international schools in Luxembourg. This experience has not only deepened my understanding of the IB but also introduced me to other curricula like the European Baccalaureate and the GCSE. The IB approach is known for being extremely challenging on more than the academic level, so sometimes we might need to try a few creative strategies and tricks that I used — like memorising trigonometric values by drawing funny images on your hands, reciting verses about sad turtles, or using colorful pens to sketch images that help you remember ideas. These might seem a bit unusual, but they've proven to work wonders! I’m available for tutoring both online and in-person, with flexible scheduling options to accommodate your studies without adding stress. "I had the great pleasure of taking Spanish lessons with Andrés and I highly recommend them! He explains the material in a very clear and engaging way, making learning both enjoyable and effective. I especially appreciate his patience with his students. Through a variety of exercises and authentic materials, I was able to improve my Spanish significantly and learn a lot about the culture as well. I have taken a total of 5 classes with Ilie and had such a wonderful experience. He is always prepared with homework and class material to present. The lessons are fun and engaging and I feel like my level of Spanish has progressed very rapidly in just these 2.5 weeks. Really impressed with my first lesson with Cornelia. I am picking piano up again after about 40 years and she really helped with simplifying many things that have always been a little challenging for me eg scales :) We discussed my objectives and direction and have made a plan for moving forwards. I feel very motivated after this experience with Cornelia
