Trusted teacher: I teach Biochemistry through a clinically integrated and concept-driven approach designed to build deep molecular understanding while directly linking biochemical principles to human physiology and disease. My instruction emphasizes the translation of biochemical mechanisms into clinical reasoning, enabling learners to interpret laboratory findings, understand pathogenesis, and apply metabolic knowledge in real medical contexts. Core Areas of Instruction My teaching covers foundational and advanced topics, including: Enzymology: Kinetics, inhibition, regulation, and clinical correlations of enzyme dysfunction. Metabolism: Carbohydrate, lipid, amino acid, and nucleotide metabolism with integrated regulatory control. Molecular Biology: DNA replication, transcription, translation, epigenetics, and gene regulation. Bioenergetics: Mitochondrial function, oxidative phosphorylation, and metabolic adaptation. Clinical Biochemistry: Biochemical basis of disease states such as metabolic disorders, endocrine abnormalities, and inherited enzymopathies. Laboratory Interpretation: Mechanistic understanding behind biomarkers, metabolic panels, and diagnostic assays. Teaching Methodology Instruction is structured to ensure mastery rather than memorization. Students are guided to: Analyze biochemical pathways as dynamic, regulated systems rather than isolated reactions. Understand why abnormalities occur at the molecular level in disease. Apply biochemical reasoning to clinical scenarios and problem-solving exercises. Develop long-term conceptual retention through pathway integration and mechanistic mapping. Educational Philosophy Biochemistry is presented not as an abstract basic science, but as the molecular language of medicine. By integrating physiology, genetics, and pathology into biochemical teaching, students gain the ability to connect molecular events to patient-level outcomes, forming a strong scientific foundation for advanced medical study and clinical practice.

Tutoring for the MedAT - preparation for passing the medical test (Vienna)

I had the chance to prepare for the MedAT with Lukas, and his help was truly phenomenal. From the very beginning, he gave me clear strategies that boosted my average in almost all subjects to 100% on a regular basis. Every week, he created detailed statistics and a personalized timetable that directly targeted my weaknesses, so I was constantly improving. Since German is not my mother tongue, Lukas even supported me by speaking with me in German, and sometimes correcting me, which helped me improve my language skills a lot. He completely changed the way I study: before, I spent an irrational amount of time handwriting notes, but with him I switched to using Anki, practicing, and reading effectively. Thanks to him, I built many good habits that I can now apply to other areas of learning as well. We worked through all sections from the basics—KFF, BMS, and EMOT—and Lukas had the knowledge to guide me in every part. He always explained clearly what to do and how to do it, so that everything became logical and systematic. From the very first lesson, we focused directly on my weaknesses (for example, memory exercises), instead of wasting time like many other teachers who just talk for the first two or three lessons without giving real value. His timetables are amazing, and combined with his motivation, they kept me working steadily for 6–7 months without interruption. Honestly, I could write a lot more about this period and how much he helped me, but the best is simply to try it yourself. I can say with confidence that without Lukas’ help, I don’t think I would have passed the MedAT. Ps : one mote thing that i loved was that if you are ready to work Lukas will work with you and will try to do everything so you have success

I had the pleasure of working with Larissa as my personal Luxembourgish coach for one month leading up to my exam. Her dedication and professionalism were truly outstanding. Larissa helped me practice speaking extensively and also prepared me for the listening test, ensuring I was well-prepared and confident in all aspects. She held me accountable for every course, which greatly contributed to my progress. Larissa is a real professional, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking to improve their Luxembourgish skills.

I can highly recommend Olivier. I haven't spoken much French in the past 10 years and wanted to refresh before an upcoming trip. Olivier prepares for the lesson by selecting articles of interest which we then discuss. The hour goes by very quickly because its fun and interesting! Give him a try!
