Mathematics Olympiad Training — AMC, AIME, SASMO, IMO Pathway & Global CompetitionsTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Mathematics Olympiad Training — AMC, AIME, SASMO, IMO Pathway & Global CompetitionsTranslate this text using Google Translate.

This class is designed for high-potential students, from Grade 3 to Grade 12, aiming for the world’s most competitive mathematics competitions — the same competitions that act as strong signals for admission to Ivy League, Oxford, Cambridge, MIT, Stanford, and other top global universities. I provide elite-level training in mathematical problem-solving, logical depth, and creative reasoning, focusing on competitions that identify exceptional talent rather than routine academic performance. Major competitions covered include: - AMC 8 / AMC 10 / AMC 12 - AIME - IMO pathway (advanced problem-solving foundations) - European & Asian Olympiads - National and international math competitions - SASMO, AMO, Fermat, Kangaroo, Gauss, Euclid competitions and others Invitation-based and high-prestige contests recognized by top universities These competitions are not about speed or memorization. They require original thinking, multi-step reasoning, and mathematical maturity — skills that universities actively look for in exceptional applicants. My approach I train students to think like mathematicians. Students learn how to: deconstruct complex, unfamiliar problems identify hidden structures and elegant solution paths apply advanced techniques from algebra, number theory, combinatorics, and geometry write clear, rigorous, competition-level solutions remain calm and strategic under high intellectual pressure This is not school math and not standard tutoring. Sessions are intellectually demanding, highly structured, and tailored to the student’s current level and long-term goals. Who this class is for students with strong mathematical ability who want to reach elite level students targeting top universities (Ivy League, MIT, Oxford, Cambridge etc.) students preparing for national or international math competitions families looking for long-term talent development, not short-term fixes Instructor background With extensive international experience in advanced mathematics education, university-level teaching, and mentoring high-achieving students, I understand how competition mathematics connects directly to elite university admissions and academic success. I do not train students to “collect medals.” I train them to develop exceptional mathematical thinking — the kind that opens doors. Format Sessions are highly personalized, challenging, and progressive. Online via webcam. Languages of instruction: English, Russian, Turkish, and Azerbaijani

Logic, formal languages, and automata theory for computer scienceTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Experienced and patient teacher of logic for computer science. I have taught logic, formal languages and automata theory to undergraduates for six years. My tutoring is adapted to the student's level and goals. Whether you need to learn logic for your studies, or you would simply like to know more about the subject, I will be more than happy to help you improve your understanding and skills. Logic The sciences presuppose a certain standard of rationality. An ability to distinguish between correct reasoning and claims that do not follow from the assumptions. In this class we study the basic principles of logic and apply mathematical techniques to the study thereof. Topics include: Propositional and Predicate Logic Syntax and semantics Natural deduction Semantic tableaux Correctness and soundness Completeness Formal languages and automata A formal language is an abstraction of general characteristics of programming languages. Such a languages consists of a set of symbols together with some rules to determine whether a string made up out of those symbols is a member of the language. Topics include: Regular languages, context-free languages Finite automata, pushdown automata, Turing machines Regular expressions Regular grammar, context-sensitive grammar Pumping lemmas for regular and context-free languages

Philosophy for understanding the world: classes, dialogue and critical thinkingTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Philosophy for understanding the world: classes, dialogue and critical thinkingTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Philosophy is not about memorizing names, dates, and theories. Philosophizing means learning to ask questions, recognize contradictions, analyze arguments, and better understand the world we live in. I studied Philosophy and History and have spent decades working on philosophical, social, political, and technological issues. I offer one-on-one classes for both students who need a deeper understanding of philosophy and adults who simply want to think, learn, and discuss topics that interest them. We can work on the history of philosophy, texts and authors, logic and argumentation, epistemology, ethics, political philosophy, materialism, philosophy of technology, artificial intelligence, or any other philosophical issue you want to understand or discuss. You can also simply come with a question. No prior knowledge is necessary. We start with what interests you and brainstorm together. My goal isn't to give you ready-made answers or convince you of a particular doctrine. I want to help you develop your own arguments, uncover the assumptions behind an idea, and learn to look at a problem from different perspectives. Classes can be for academic support, exam preparation, introduction to philosophy, or individual philosophical conversation. Classes in Spanish, German or English. Online and, by prior arrangement, in person in Barcelona and Badalona.

I have been taking mathematical reasoning classes with Leila to prepare for EPSO competitions, and I couldn’t recommend her more highly. She is extremely kind, patient, and supportive, which makes even challenging topics much easier to approach. Leila has a real talent for explaining complex concepts in a clear and structured way, and she knows exactly how to adapt her teaching to the student’s needs. She is also very motivating and encouraging, which helped me gain confidence and stay consistent in my preparation. An excellent teacher for anyone preparing for EPSO exams.

Extremely professional and knowledgeable with any problem that I have had. Reza is always polite, friendly and always shows great patience, which I believe is of the highest importance when learning difficult subjects. I highly recommend him as a teacher!

Florian was well prepared and engaging in conversation. He helped me to understand the content and usage with context.
