Then this class is for you! * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Listen & Play Piano - Unlike the conventional "classical" method, this "modern approach" lesson, you'll learn to identify melodies, recognize chords, play different accompaniment styles, improvise (advanced level), and create your own personal style (advanced level). Lessons include: 1. Active Aural Training This is not the usual "classical exam format" aural exercises but practical aural techniques I've learned from my years of stage performance. 2. Chords You will learn chord theory on harmonizing the melody and how to identify them just by listening to music. 3. Contemporary Accompaniment styles This includes my bread-and-butter accompaniment styles I use in playing solo piano or keyboard in a band, and the knowledge I've accumulated over the past 18 years playing in church and band. 4. Music Theory on Pop Music Music theory provides a systematic guide to your hearing so you'll understand what you heard and can even predict the harmony movement in most pop music.

Theory, practice, musical worldview, and everything you'd like to know—if it's within my power to teach you, you'll learn it in my lessons. You're welcome! :)) I am a teacher, composer, band member, and above all, a pianist. Teaching is my greatest passion. I have been teaching both children and adults for five years. I am a patient teacher with an open approach to learning, and I strive to impart knowledge in a pleasant atmosphere. I have been playing the piano since I was a child, and over my 17-year journey with the instrument, I have learned many methods that accelerate learning, and I am eager to share them with you! I gained my musical education over time at the Krakow School of Jazz, under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Dominik Wania, Prof. Haruka Matsumoto, and Prof. Jan Kosiak. I started with classical music, performing my first concerts with pieces by Chopin, Beethoven, Debussy, and Mozart. Then came jazz and incredible experiences with Hancock, Chick Corea, and Bill Evans. Currently, I am trying to find my own musical path both as a solo artist and as part of a band. Music is a continuous journey into the unknown, along with discovering oneself and expressing one's emotions.
