She made it easy for me to start speaking right away - she was very sensitive and patient to let me figure out how to say what I wanted to say when I felt like I could, and she only jumped in to help when I asked for it or when I made a mistake. Over the course of our first lesson she started to get a good grasp on my strengths and weaknesses, as well as my interests, so that we can tailor our subsequent lessons to my needs.
