Trusted teacher: While doing my Cambridge CELTA teacher training course, I progressed in the Communicative Language Teaching method. It is renowned globally as a leading language teaching methodology, and over the course of my career it has always proven to be highly effective, boosting the students' fluency and confidence in Speaking, as well as Vocabulary and Grammar. I usually begin a class with a short lead-in into the topic. Then I introduce a short text or a recording in order to work on the student's Listening and Reading skills. After we’ve worked on the text, I present the target sentences taken from it and highlight a particular Vocabulary or Grammar structure. After that, we work on the meaning of the target language, as well as its form and pronunciation. Afterwards, we do one or two written and oral exercises, called controlled practice, during which the student works on the Vocabulary / Grammar structure. I finish the class with a communicative task, such as personalised questions or a role-play, which are aimed at developing the student's fluency. I never interrupt the student while they speak, but I make notes on the errors / examples of good use of the target language. At the end of the lesson, I give the student the language feedback, and afterwards we discuss the techniques and strategies they can use to practise / review the target language independently. I look forward to meeting you! I look forward to meeting you!

Trusted teacher: ***** Availability update made on 09/01/2020. Valid until further notice ***** I offer you my services in order to make you truly effective orally / in writing in English. If you have to use English in the course of your professional activity and you don't get comfortable with it ... If you are tired of being spotted immediately as French ... If you don't know still not when to use the present perfect / preterite .... I'm here to help you and make you progress. * Linguist by training and author of school textbook in this capacity. Note that I am not this young student who had a good mark in the Baccalaureate or this other who is supposedly bilingual. I have been teaching as a teacher in the National Education since 1995 and I can tell you that teaching cannot be improvised. It is not an activity that we do "like that". I offer you my expertise and my experience. By the way, to have 10/20 in the Baccalaureate, it is enough to have the A2 level (which is theoretically expected at the end of 3rd year) so I let you imagine the desperation of future engineers who must obtain at least 750 in the TOEIC! (the equivalent of level B2!) * Daily monitoring possible via internet. * Each course is prepared according to your needs. Feedback is always given. * Specialized in "phonology": intonation, word accent, connections ... Oral grammar. * Adaptation to all levels: from college to post-baccalaureate through high school. => Post-bac: preparation for TOEIC, TOEFL, iELTS, Cambridge First-Certificate, Advanced Certificate. => Orals and writings from grandes écoles such as ENA => Orals and writings from business schools (Tremplin-Passerelle ...) ENGLISH all levels, all ages - Examinations and conversations. (Lormont)
Marie is a wonderful teacher. When I first met her my son's English level was very low, he wasn't even able to spell the alphabet. But Marie taught him well, and in a short time of about two months, my son was able to speak English, spell words and even make full sentences correctly. I'm much obliged to Marie for everything she has done to help my son learn English. Therefore I recommend Marie for anyone who is looking for a good English teacher.

Foreign language course, English, Spanish, French (Paris)
great experience! we only had couple of hours of conversation, as I wanted to take the rust off my French during a trip in Paris. she was very open, easy-going and at the same time very helpful in pointing-out prononciation, words that I didn't know, etc. I'm sure she's great for classes over a longer time period too. highly recommended.

Learn English for all levels of experience from 'Hello' to 'Goodbye' and everything in-between (Lisbon)
Jack has a great style of teaching! He is very precise in assessing the student's level and he plans the class structure accordingly. From the very beginning, Jack has ensured me that teaching another language is more than possible even if you don’t have a language in common - he is the prime example of an excellent teacher!
