Trusted teacher: Hello, My name is Jaime and I am a Spanish clarinet player, composer, and teacher. With over years of experience playing the clarinet and having immersed myself in teaching for the last few years, I am currently completing my professional studies in clarinet and composition at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam with professors Arno Piters (Royal Concertgebouw Orkest) and Hans Colbert (Residentie Orkest Den Haag). I see teaching not only as a way to pass on my (still growing) knowledge but also as a way to learn along with my students in a cheerful and inspiring way. During our classes, we will learn the basics of clarinet playing, as well as how to use these basics to build your own way of playing and learn simple songs, intermediate pieces, or world-class concertos! If clarinet is not your thing but you want to learn music theory I can also help you with personalized classes to suit your needs. Maybe you want to learn basic notation reading or solfege, or perhaps you want to audition for a renowned institution as the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. Whatever your need is I will find a way to articulate a plan we can follow so you can achieve success on your musical adventures. Aside from lessons on the students' place of residence, online lessons via skype or zoom can also be scheduled at a reduced price.
