🎻Hello, I'm Javier, a Chilean violist living in Vienna. I studied at the Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna and have been teaching at the Superar Vienna organization since 2024. I have participated in international festivals in Europe and Latin America, including the Angelika Prokopp Summer Academy of the Vienna Philharmonic. 🌍 I offer viola lessons for all levels, both in person in Vienna and online via Zoom. My teaching focus is on: • Instrumental technology • Practical learning methods • Musicality and interpretation

Hallo, my name is Chloe Slane, and I am currently finishing my degree in college right now studying abroad in Berlin. I have played the viola since I was 8 years old, and started on the violin at 6. I am currently getting both a music degree in Viola Performance and a Philosophy degree, in a 5-year Double Major Program through a school in New York. I will be in Berlin for the whole school year & most of the summer, so if you are interested and cheap & easy lessons for your kids to learn some more, I am happy to help out! I am an advanced level, have been playing for about 12-13 years, and it has become one of my main professions in life, so it is very much a skill of mine. Although I am young, I love helping and teaching kids as well, as it sparks interest in many!

I provide violin and viola lessons for everyone interested. I am patient and i try to help every student according to their objectives and level. Activities in the lessons will support students learning of the parts of the violin or viola as well as bowing and playing the instrument.

My approach as your violin and/or viola guide might be a little different than you would expect. I want to invite you on a journey of playfulness and free improvisation guided by moments of joy. I don’t believe in right or wrong when it comes to sound as I am convinced that everyone has their own unique sound. In our lessons I want to help you discover how YOU sound, even before we start talking about notes and music pieces. When it comes to playing existing music, we will work with any music that you love, transcribed to your level. I find joy in creating a safe and transformative space for you to explore your creativity and develop a true passion for your instrument.

I have many years of teaching experience. I prepare my students for exams, concerts or auditions. I can already look back on several successes. I have a lot of fun solving various playful problems with my students. I play in a professional orchestra in Vienna and teach at the renowned University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. I am happy to tell you a little more about myself in a message, so please do not hesitate to ask.

- The Suzuki method is fun and practical for beginners - We'll work on technique (position, scales, a little music theory) and musicality (I'm open to any musical suggestions): as a composer myself, I don't hesitate to play or improvise accompaniments with my students for a more collaborative experience. - I can teach violin and viola, having studied both - My courses are aimed at beginners, false beginners, and intermediate level students (2nd cycle of conservatory)
