Hello! I am pleased to be able to introduce myself briefly and share my passion with you. I am passionate about honest, inclusive and exciting instrumental lessons, which can also be humorous. As a child, I was able to enjoy such lessons with my first teacher, so that at the age of eight I decided to become an instrumental teacher myself. I would like to ignite this fire in my students too - as long as they want it, of course. Just being human, enjoying music together and learning an instrument at the same time. Self-discovery learning is very important to me. But you don't just learn the violin/viola, you also learn how to make music. I am still young and in the middle of my Master's degree here in Bern, where I have been giving private lessons for the last six months and am constantly learning something new - you never stop learning. I was able to gain further experience in Austria during my Bachelor's degree. This included two years of teaching experience at three music schools as part of my degree. Through my studies, private lessons and substitute teaching, I have also had the opportunity to gain experience with all age groups. I look forward to your message! Kind regards Raphael

Music is fun! Experienced teacher works with children ages 5 and up, as well as teenagers and adults of all levels. Previously a teacher at the University of Rome, she currently teaches violin in Bern and the surrounding area. As a teacher, I place great importance on precise foundations, movement sequences, and the body's well-being. Sound, music, and joy are the ingredients of my teaching style. Improvisation and all styles of technique are welcome. Working with Ennio Morricone and Quincy Jones has certainly influenced my approach to music and teaching.

My name is Daniela, and I am a cross-over violist from Costa Rica. I moved to the Netherlands in 2020 to pursue my studies at Codarts Conservatory in Rotterdam, where I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Classical Music (Viola). I am currently continuing my journey at Codarts with a Master's degree in Latin Music. During my time in the Netherlands, I have been part of a wide range of musical projects across different genres — from classical orchestras and chamber music to pop, jazz, and world music collaborations. I've performed with ensembles such as the Jong Metropole and recorded with various pop, jazz, and fusion bands. I am also the bandleader of my own Latin project, La Reunión, and work as a freelance musician with diverse musical groups. Before moving to the Netherlands, I studied Music Education at the University of Costa Rica and worked for several years as a private teacher. I have experience teaching violin and viola to both children and adults. As a teacher, I am kind and patient. I believe in the value of consistent, focused work and in helping students grow step by step. I aim to make the learning process feel easy and fun!
