Great to meet you all! My name is Tomas and I'm a passionate violin teacher with more than 20 years of teaching experience. I have a strong academic background in music and education. Here are some of the degrees I have obtained:

Apart from teaching, I also run the world's largest Spanish-language violin blog called MyViolinBlog where I share my teaching and playing experiences. I'm also privileged to work as a conductor for the AMA Orchestra in Barcelona, where my students and I focus on musical group experience and technique.

I have teaching experience in different schools across Argentina, Spain, Poland, and Romania, I've developed a unique teaching approach that tailors each lesson to the student's goals, keeping them motivated and on track. I can also assist with preparation for school admissions exams such as ABRSM, Trinity College, and more.

As the head teacher at Esclat Barcelona Music School and Viaró Global School, I'm currently conducting research in the biomechanics of violin playing, and I'm set to publish four books on this subject this year!

The piano is an orchestra in one instrument! Learning to play this instrument provides the basis for composition, learning harmony and developing musical skill. Age does not matter - I teach beginners to advanced players.

My approach is artistic and creative, meaning there is a focus on the strengthening of individual expression and abilities while learning the basics of music, how to play and perform , as well as how to compose.
Music theory is integrated into practical lessons so that an overall knowledge of music is achieved no matter what we study! At the same time I offer theory lessons on its own for those interested.

I offer piano lessons with a wide-ranging musical education. This course is aimed at both beginners who want to learn from scratch and intermediate students who want to improve their musical skills. Also people who need support at some Elementary Grade level. It can be complemented with piano lessons.

This class aims to provide students with a solid understanding of the fundamental concepts of music theory and develop skills in rhythm reading. Throughout the course, topics such as notes, accidentals and musical symbols, measures and timing, scales, as well as the interpretation of sheet music will be covered. Practical exercises and their applications in real musical examples will be carried out. El programa de una clase seria:
Primero: proponer unas piezas que sean de agrado y, estén al nivel de dificultad del alumno.
Segundo: conocer la musica que se esta tocando para familiarizarse con el estilo.
Tercero: empezar a leer la partitura, el primer sistema (manos separadas) muy despacio con sus digitaciones, repetidas veces hasta no realizar ningún error, tanto para la mano izquierda como la derecha.
Cuarto: cuando se asimilen todos estos conocimientos poner en común tanto la mano izquierda como la derecha, a un tempo lento, poco a poco aumentando la velocidad hasta tocarla al tempo indicado, y así hasta completar toda la pieza, para, finalmente poderla tocar correctamente.

Hola! Soy Laura, he cursado durante 10 años estudios de música, incluyendo lenguaje musical y piano, hasta llegar al grado profesional. Este año me he graduado en Musicologia.
Hace un par de años decidí empezar a dar clases particulares de nivel principiante para ganar experiencia laboral, sobretodo en la docencia, que es un ámbito en el que me gustaría estar en un futuro.
