In my classes I always seek to maintain a balance between the development of basic knowledge, composition techniques and creativity. These are the three fundamental pillars that any person dedicated to composition needs.

Basic knowledge: Many are afraid of learning "too much" theory, because they believe that it can kill creativity. But what I precisely want to teach in my classes is a practical approach, where theoretical knowledge serves to further develop creativity.

Composition techniques: Each class I give small composition tasks, things that can be developed in the time you have available between classes, where we will explore different composition techniques and how they can be applied within the musical language that you want to develop.

Creativity: We work here in two ways, the first is on a project you are working on, for example a piece for your own instrument, a project for a competition or entrance exam, a song, etc. The second way is through improvisation exercises on your instrument. We will do this together, since I play violin and piano. With this we are seeing how to give space to musical intuition, to be able to capture ideas and then concretize them in a composition.

These three elements are present in each class, which is usually divided into 20-minute sections, so a lesson usually lasts 1 hour.

Soy un compositor especializado en música para cine, teatro y en general todo tipo de formas artísticas que combinen elementos visuales con música. Me encanta colaborar con otros artistas, siento que trabajar con distintas disciplinas hace de la creación artística algo comunitario y mucho más grande de lo que cada uno individualmente podría hacer.

En mis clases, busco siempre que mis alumnos se sientan escuchados y que sus voces son válidas. Si bien hay conocimientos básicos de teoría, instrumentación, y más que es necesario aprender, mi enfoque es siempre desde cómo todo esto se puede aplicar al lenguaje que mis alumnos están buscando desarrollar. La creatividad es algo muy personal y delicado. Lo que yo quiero es justamente ayudarte a liberar tu intuición y desarrollar herramientas con las que puedas alimentar las ideas que muchas veces surgen de la nada y, si no se las cultiva, se quedan en nada.

I am a composer specialized in music for cinema, theater and in general all kinds of artistic forms that combine visual elements with music. I love collaborating with other artists, I feel that working with different disciplines makes artistic creation something communal and much bigger than what each one could do individually.

In my classes, I always my students to feel heard and that their voices are valid. While there is basic knowledge of theory, instrumentation, and more that needs to be learned, my focus is always on how all of this can be applied to the language that my students are seeking to develop. Creativity is something very personal and delicate. What I want is precisely to help you free your intuition and develop tools with which you can feed the ideas that often come out of nowhere and, if they are not cultivated, remain nothing.

My method is ... LEARN BY MAKING YOUR MUSIC!

The student will learn techniques, stylistic elements, tricks ... already by working on his first tracks: to keep motivation and satisfaction high, the result is always visible!
The lessons are face-to-face and personalised according to the level of experience and the musical style of the student. The presentation of the information is clear and accompanied by practical examples.

I'll show you how to:
- use Ableton Live,
- program and control synthesizers and virtual instruments,
- use microphone and sound card to record your voice and your instruments,
- process sound with effects (plugins) and optimize it for diffusion (mixing and mastering),
- make your songs, from start to the last details.

I also speak Spanish, French, German and Italian.

Thanks to my experience as a teacher in a professional center such as the Santander Professional Conservatory of Music, where I have had the opportunity to work with students of all ages, since I have been lucky enough to work with numerous teachers who have given me different points of view to face the development of the interpretive technique of the transverse flute, I have extensive experience and numerous tools to help solve the difficulties of the students when playing.
I currently combine my acting career with my second master's degree in acting at the Barcelona Conservatory of Music with Professor Vicens Prats. I have extensive experience as a teacher at the Santander Professional Music Conservatory "Ataulfo Argenta". As a performer, I have the opportunity to collaborate with numerous orchestras, such as the Basque Country Orchestra (OSE) or the Valles Symphony Orchestra (OSV).
These experiences and many others allow me to face the classes from a professional point of view while, by continuing to be a student, I can understand more closely the difficulties that students may encounter when playing the transverse flute.

I am currently teaching piano as an experienced pianist with 25 years of piano experience, who has a title from the international music competition 'Jugendmusiziert' (competition for Deutsche Schule students in the world), a diploma from the piano program of the Istanbul Conservatory (Ispirtohane) and from the London College of Music with 8 grades in solo piano and music theory. Important: Please send me a message before booking a lesson if you would like to have a Spanish lesson (I am not a native speaker)

I speak Turkish, English and German very well, and I am currently improving my Spanish as well. I already give lessons to my younger students in Spanish, if I feel that the communication is good enough. But I can also help English, German and Turkish speaking students with conservatory exams, Royal Academy / London College of Music exams, learning music theory, harmony, improving technique or preparing a repertoire.

I used to work at a school called Opus Music School in Istanbul, which is licensed for LCM exams, with students of various ages, preparing them for the exams.

I have a self-developed teaching methodology, which helps students improve their skills along with knowledge of music theory and music history, which I believe is essential for classical piano education.

From reading notes and understanding classical music mathematics to conservatory exams or preparing classical repertoire, I would be happy to share this adventure with you in English, German, Spanish or Turkish! I use various materials, especially in the beginning, to improve the sense of rhythm, understand music theory and improve performance skills.
