I have been playing the piano since I was five. I graduated from a specialized music school in Kiev and now I am a student at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. I teach classical, jazz and pop music. I have a very positive approach in teaching and will try to generate a motivating environment, as I understand that learning piano can be frustrating for some! My goal is to help you enjoy piano as well as seeing steady progress.

Hello! I am pleased to be offering piano lessons to beginner and intermediate level students! Alongside the technicalities of playing the instrument, I have a broad knowledge of different genres of music. If you are interested in writing your own music that is wonderful! I will be delighted to give you all the skills you need. We can begin with any genre of music from the first lesson. Knowledge of how to read sheet music is not necessary for beginners. I trained in piano at the TUD Conservatory of Music in Dublin, and have had many performance opportunities there and in Amsterdam. I have also been taking regular piano lessons and at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam since I arrived here. I have taught piano in various different music schools and programmes in Ireland, but my main experience is from private teaching.

During my oboe lessons, enjoying music is central. The double reed plays an important role in both the sound and the ease of playing the oboe. I make sure there is always a reed that plays nicely. In addition, I will pay a lot of attention to the way of blowing. This is the basis that ensures that the students can have fun and make music right from the start. . Making music together is the best thing there is, so I like to play along with the students in a duet. I guide advanced students in developing their (musical) creativity and, if they wish, I offer reed lessons. In these lessons I give tips for updating reeds and explain all the steps of the reed making process.

I'm offering lessons for anyone interested in learning how to improvise, regardless of the instrument you play or the style you would like to improvise in. Even if you have no or little theory knowledge yet, I have a way of getting you started with improvisation and then teaching you everything theoretical you need to know. Topics might include: - Improvising based on the melody of a song or simple motives - Common song forms for improvisation - Theory: Harmony, Rhythm, Ear Training - Jazz specific: Bebop and Modern language - Listening to and understanding solos of great improvisers

I help my students to learn to play the ukulele or to improve their level with personalised approach where I create individual lesson plans for each student for their needs and pace. I create exercises from the songs you like/wish to play and cover the technical aspect in a fun way. My schedule here is mostly symbolic, please contact me for the scheduling the lessons, I can be way more flexible that way.

I am a classical double bass player graduated from Maastricht Conservatorium. After graduating I specialized in teaching to children. I teach piano to children and beginners of all ages. I create a fun atmosphere for the children to develop their love for music and playing piano.

Hey there! In my lessons, what you want is the most important. That's why we create together a plan of study with ideas, goals and subjects to reach out our dream to make music (that's also my dream) Nevertheless, I can give you an overview of the content: I divide the music theory in two: Technical and Musical. Technical Theory regarding all the concepts and information related to music, and Musical Theory regarding the ideas and concepts to help us understand and improve the performance of music. Besides that, we look to harmony in a functional, rhythmical and organic way. We learn and approach music from the first lesson, looking at it from different angles (understanding rhythm and essence of a song for example). All this plus a nice diet of assignments and exercises: D Furthermore, we put especial attention to enjoying music. That means playing but also listening music! Cello and/or Music theory lesson for children, adolescent and adult of any level, from beginner to advanced level. The lesson will be in English or in French. The most important things to me is to combined pleasure, hard working and sharing. I will try to understand what my student is looking for during the lessons and find the best methodology to achieve his wish while improving the playing. I will try to make my student play with each other as often as possible and try to organized some small projects like student concerts with maybe some rhythmical workshop, solo pieces or ensemble pieces. you can read more about me on my profile.

For children Under 9 year old I usually start my class by listening to music with movement and games to improve their listening ability and then start playing recorder and with more than 9 years old we start recorder with theory lessons and ear training

Voice lessons are an amazing way to strengthen your voice and broaden your range. Lessons are offered for all types of musical styles including jazz, classical, and pop. In these lessons we will cover vocal technique, song performance, leading a band, sight reading, music theory, and other aspects of performing and singing. Taught in English by a Native English speaker the student with receive English diction lessons along with singing. The basic technique is guaranteed, but the teacher will work with the student on the specific goals and topics the students want to focus on.
