Trusted teacher: “Language is the key to connection – I help you open that door.” My name is Rebeca. I was raised trilingually in Dutch, English and Spanish. Thanks to my international education and years of experience in a multilingual environment, I switch effortlessly between these three languages. From my own experience I know how lost you can feel in an environment where you don't speak the language yet. That's why I offer language support to children (4-17 years) who want to learn Dutch or improve their language skills - especially in the Arnhem-Nijmegen region. Personal guidance, tailor-made I teach in a way that suits the student: personal, patient and tailored to the level and learning needs. I work with different teaching materials and focus on communication and speaking skills, so that my students quickly feel at home and dare to speak with confidence. Special attention for children I also coach children with dyslexia or autism and help them in a way that suits their unique way of learning. In addition, I support children who are switching from international to regular Dutch education - both in terms of language and in finding their place in a new school environment. Practical and flexible The lessons are 1-on-1, The price is per person per hour. Besides being a teacher, I am also your coach, guiding you through the joyful and challenging moments of your journey of learning Chinese Language and Culture. I have taught Chinese for 11 years, in Dutch middle schools. I am also teaching private lessons for adults, mostly for business purposes who have daily contact with Chinese companies and customers. Some of them are starting from 0, some of them have lived and worked in China for several years, and also students who majored in China studies, however, would like to improve their Chinese proficiency to native speaker level. I really enjoy teaching students with various backgrounds and experiences. When princess Amalia, Princess of Orange is the heir apparent to the throne of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, chose to study Chinese during her middle school, Dutch television program RTL Boulevard has interviewed me. Also, together with my students in Dutch middle school, we are on national TV SBS 6 for the program "Holland van Boven'. There are several other interviews on local news in The Netherlands. She is fun to learn with, but also has a very clear vision on where we should be heading and is able to exactly follow the path that was mapped out.” My student comments on my lessons as: “The teacher is very active, and does a lot of preparations for the classes.
