Trusted teacher: I am giving face-to-face piano lessons tailored specifically for beginners. As a classical singer with extensive piano training, I bring a unique perspective to teaching piano, combining technical skill with musical expression. Each lesson is crafted to fit your individual needs, ensuring a solid foundation in piano playing. Whether you are starting from scratch or have a basic understanding, our lessons will help you progress at your own pace. We'll cover essential skills such as reading music, understanding rhythm, and developing finger strength and dexterity. Proper technique and posture are crucial for long-term success and avoiding injury. I will guide you through exercises and practices to develop good habits from the start. Being a classical singer, I emphasize the importance of musical expression. We will explore dynamics, phrasing, and articulation to bring your playing to life. Lessons are conducted in my cozy home-studio, providing a relaxed and focused atmosphere. You'll have access to a digital piano and all the necessary materials for an engaging learning experience. In addition to playing the piano, we'll explore elements of music theory and ear training, providing you with a well-rounded musical education. This comprehensive approach ensures you not only play notes but understand the music you are creating. I am dedicated to fostering a love for music in each of my students. My goal is to make learning enjoyable and rewarding, helping you to develop a lifelong appreciation for the piano. The lessons are suitable for both children and adults.

Trusted teacher: Hello! I'd like to suggest you finally take the plunge and start playing the piano. I can accompany and guide you in your discovery and learning. Lessons can take place at my home in Colombes or at your home (Paris and surrounding areas). I know what it's like not knowing how to take the first step. In reality, it's probably more accessible than you think, provided you have a teacher who can understand and support you. At the piano I have been able to play a wide variety of pieces (classical, jazz, pop, film music...) and this versatility and open-mindedness is an asset as a musician and for teaching. In addition to piano, I also took private lessons for other instruments for several years, which helped me develop a much broader and richer understanding of music. Having had many different teachers allowed me to see what works best and what doesn't, both in terms of teaching method and interpersonal skills. I also do composition and can give you some pointers if you wish. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- It's not "too late" and you don't need any special skills to start playing the piano. You simply need the desire to learn and the willingness to dedicate some time to the instrument. My method consists of giving you a solid and clear foundation so that you can enjoy yourself and gain independence as quickly as possible. I alternate exercises and pieces of increasing difficulty to help you progress effectively. We'll learn to read notes and sheet music, and you'll see it's far from insurmountable with a gradual approach. I'll give you all the necessary tools little by little to progress and enjoy yourself. I'm also attentive to your preferences; the course can be adapted to you and your tastes (for example, in the choice of exercises and pieces). If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

From Classical to Popular music, his teaching method adapts to the goals and individual desires of the student. During the classes, music theory is taught either concurrently or separately from practice, and the repertoire to be played is chosen collaboratively with the student. Felipe has years of experience as a concert pianist and teacher in academies and music schools. He seeks the most suitable approach for each student, respecting their learning pace, helping overcome difficulties, and exploring their strengths, always encouraging progress.

Alejandro - Ghent50€
Trusted teacher: English below* Hello everybody! My name is Alejandro. I am a professional classical pianist with a bachelor and two master degrees (one in the conservatory of Ghent "classic piano performance master" and another in Spain "teaching master"). At the moment I am also studying another master classical fortepiano in the Conservatory of Amsterdam. I have a lot of experience teaching in various music schools, professional academies and also privately. I have given piano concerts in several countries such as Spain, England, Italy and Belgium, so I am quite open minded in my teaching and I try to adapt my experience abroad to all types of students. I mainly teach in English, Dutch and Spanish. My lessons are focused on the individual needs of the student, taking into account what each student has to improve. Enjoying music is the most important goal in my teaching method. I can mainly teach in the student house, but I have my own keyboard in my home in Ghent Center. Online is also an option (I also have experience with this way of working). I am always available for students to send questions or doubts during the week! Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions you may have. // Hello everyone! My name is Alejandro.
