Nayeli is an excellent teacher who designs your lessons according to your level but also your areas of interest. She uses various teaching methods and materials including writing exercises, videos, audio materials, and fun games. She also prepares individual PowerPoint presentations and homework for you, which you receive after each lesson. In terms of vocabulary, I had a good foundation through Duolingo. Decided to take one-to-one lessons with Palina to also improve grammar and listening and speaking skills. Now at lesson 4 and very happy with my choice :). After saying hello (in Russian of course) the lesson starts with a listening or speaking practice, followed by a short repetition of the grammar rule of the previous lesson and the introduction of a new grammar rule. Keep in mind, however, that the structure of lessons may depend on your level of Russian.
