¡Hola!

I am Luz (or Hikari in Japanese) and I am a social impact educator from Latin America. I moved to Tokyo in February 2020 and I’m looking for opportunities to share my knowledge and experiences, and also learn from others.

I am really passionate about education and cultural diversity. I have lived in 4 different countries so far and have worked in multiple cross-country organizations in Latin America. So I have access to a wide network of people that gives me many different perspectives on the work I do.

I speak native Spanish, fluent English and have just started learning Japanese. I am constantly researching educational innovations to improve my teaching methods. My favorite approaches are growth mindset and learning through fun!

I listen to and I care about learners' needs, purposes, emotions and interests.

Let’s meet!

Russian is one of the most spoken languages in the world. It is an official language of Russian, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. It is spoken in all other post-soviet countries, and also in Israel, the Balkans and the U.S.
As Russia has been in the process of positioning itself as a major economic force, including the Russian language in CV would definitely give a good impression to employers. Many companies today are looking for qualified international workers who master Russian.
Apart from that, being able to speak the Russian language will allow you to understand Russians and their culture, something which could never happen through cultural exchanges. You would develop a new view of Russian literature, music, and art.

Why choose me as a tutor?
- I am a native Russian speaker with experience in teaching the Russian language to non-Russians.
- I have been teaching Russian for years to beginners and advanced learners. My English and Japanese are fluent, so in our lessons, I will explain everything to you in a very understandable and easy way.
- I have been giving private lessons and teaching in classrooms. I have worked with children and adults.
- I ensure that you would enjoy my classes because I always try to make the learning process fun and relaxed. Our lessons will always be well organized and well structured.
-All the lessons are tailored exactly to your individual needs to help you succeed.
- I will help you to achieve the necessary level of communication in the shortest possible time since I also have been learning foreign languages and know the secret for learning them quickly. You will finally begin to speak fluently in Russian.

Even if you have not learned the language before, by the end of the course you will be able to speak Russian, learn all the grammar basics, understand native Russian speakers, read and write in Russian.

I look forward to meeting you!

Hello,

My name is Santiago and I am native Spanish speaker from Uruguay. I am offering individual and personalized virtual Spanish classes to improve both your oral and written communication. The main focus of my classes is focused on developing fluent and structured communication of the Spanish language either to prepare international exams, or to be able to communicate properly in the professional field or to reinforce and maintain prior knowledge of this language.

I am a graduate, graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University in the USA. Having learned English as a child at the Ivy Thomas Memorial School in Uruguay, and lived a year and a half in Thailand, followed by 4 years in the USA I acquired great knowledge and fluency in the English language.

In Thailand I spent a year and a half studying communication arts, which helped me, prepare for my studies in the US. I had several communication classes, learning techniques of how to speak better using not only our words but also our body to help us speak more naturally, calmly, and without getting nervous if we get stuck or forget what we wanted to say. During my career in the US, I was constantly writing essays for my classes, in addition to having to present projects in front of my teachers and classmates. At the same time, I was working at university and after graduation I worked for a year, mainly having long phone conversations with people from all over the country.

If what you are looking for is to improve your knowledge of the Spanish language, I will help you. My methodology is simple. Each person is different and I adapt the content of my classes to the needs and interests of my students. We all learn in different ways and at different times,

🇬🇧Hello! I'm Erika from Tokyo.
I previously worked in a trading company and in a music agency in Japan.
I studied Russian at university (C1 level) and French in Paris (B2 level), so I truly understand how challenging it is to start a new language and continue until you reach an intermediate or even advanced level.

I enjoy playing musical instruments, dancing, and doing crafts.
As a naturally curious person, I don't want you to give up learning something new just because you feel you may not have enough time for self-study.

With me, you can simply keep going at a steady pace —
I will remind you of essential points, help you build habits, and guide you in every lesson, so you can make progress without stress or worrying about time management.

I can work remotely and can offer lessons early in the morning Japan time, so I am available for students in Europe or America as well.

Please feel free to contact me with your preferred schedule.

I look forward to supporting your Japanese learning journey!
