I am a University music professor, now based in Østerbro, Copenhagen, with 20 years of experience teaching across Canada and the United States.

My students work in classical and popular styles, toward goals of examination preparations, university and conservatory acceptances, as well as learning a specific style or set of pieces, or simply for life enrichment. Music is the ultimate way to communicate and to express, and it is my goal for my students to equip themselves to do just that.

Lessons are taught at my home in Østerbro or online.

As a teacher of certificate programs for twenty years, and with over 5 years teaching at the college level to undergraduate and graduate students, my skillset is constantly developing.

Available to teach at all levels for piano, music theory and history lessons, as well as tutoring for conservatory music courses.

It is my goal to equip my students with the tools they need to become independent, curious learners. Working with an individualized approach, each student helps to set goals, and I provide structures, tools, and motivate to achieve those goals.

I have been teaching for over 20 years, and love my work! Teaching is a joyful experience- being a part of the process of discovery is one of my favorite parts of my work. My students are prizewinners and hobbyists; late bloomers, young starts, and everything in between. What we all have in common is a love of music and of learning.

I have founded music schools, worked in private lesson settings, and worked for several years as a professor at an American university teaching all levels. My own work includes a concert schedule of solo and group performances all over the world; I make music videos and documentaries, paint, and am an avid lover of art, design, and beautiful plants!

My experience as a musician crosses genres, styles, disciplines.... and I love my work. There is nothing more rewarding than sharing the thrill of music with others- especially my students.

The course focus on concepts that will make any student of any level developing their own approach to improvisation. It can be designed depending on the instrument played by student and his/her atttude.

This book describes a nice way of approaching improvisation through specific exercises that can be tested on students of any kind of level. It divides in 4 section and requires a minimum knowledge of scales, chords and familiarity with musical vocabulary

Hearing the Changes by jerry Cooker, Bob knapp, Larry Vincent, ed advance Music, for all musicians

With this book the student will learn how to recognize progressions by ear thanks on a selection of jazz tunes chosen from the standard repertoire. It will be taught at the piano and it will let students of any level to deal with harmony and theory progressively but starting codifying harmonic traits that will clarify the reader's understanding of how progressions and improvisation "work".

Finally there is an international guitar school in Copenhagen where all students are not only learning how to play properly the guitar from a professional guitarist but also how to appreciate the meaning of the music and arts.

Students will also be prepared for professional music education. So whether the student wants to become a professional guitar player or play the guitar as a hobby, they will always learn a constructive way to play the guitar and perform with the instrument.

Lessons are open for everyone (children, teenagers, adults). The students are welcome to the lessons from the age of 6.
Carlos is currently working as a teacher in Copenhagen with his own music school, His students represent several nationalities.

Carlos has excellent motivation with his profession and he is driven to help his students to achieve their best. You will find him to be a positive, hard-working, down-to-earth person with a good sense of humor. Aleksandra is a trained singer, singing teacher and choir conductor from the Academy of Music in Gdansk and Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya in Barcelona.

She took to the stage in her childhood and has been teaching music for the last 6 years.

For several years she was a chorister of the prestigious Polish National Youth Choir and leader of Vocal Quintet Solifonia. Currently, she is a choir conductor and the founder of CHOIR CLUB in Korskolen.

What can you expect from her teaching?

She believes that singing can be passion, a communication tool, a means of therapy and so much more: more than you can imagine!

In her classes, you will learn key vocal techniques as well as learning to understand your voice. You will discover the deeper meanings of the songs you sing as you seek to express them to the world.

As she is working towards becoming an Accredited Teacher of IVTOM (International Voice Teachers of Mix) she focuses on delivering teaching based on the Mix principles: by mixing the chest and head voice you receive the full benefits of “both voices”: the natural and powerful sound of the chest voice, and the beauty and range of the head voice. As a singer learns to sing using both of these resonances and trains the vocal folds to stay together, it is possible to vocalize smoothly and evenly from one register to the next. The relationship of the two elements working together will create an even, smooth vocalization and, as a result, eliminates the “breaks” in the voice.

She has a good knowledge of playing the piano, so you can sing along to her accompaniment or accompany yourself under her supervision.

My name is Flóra and I am a clarinet teacher.
I have been teaching since 2013 in Hungary and Spain in Music Schools and giving private lessons.

I have experience with students from age 2-65. I prepare lessons for
Harmony, Music Theory and Clarinet.

Clarinet class: My main objective is that students can understand and feel the music to express themselves with the instrument. You will learn the clarinet technique and I will teach you all the elements that will help you to be a great performer of the instrument.

Music Theory class: I will teach you to read music sheets, to learn music vocabulary and rhythm. We will do intonation exercises and sing to train the ear.

With over 8 years of experience teaching music, to both children and adults, I am passionate about inspiring my pupils through art and music! I have experience in teaching both celtic and pedal harp, music theory and piano.
Being passionate about learning new things and expanding my own knowledge, and I strive to instill this same enthusiasm in my students. GuitarMap is a book I've penned, with plenty of shortcuts to understand harmony and how it works in guitar, piano, ukulele, bass, etc. Lessons are based on the book, which makes it easy to keep track of progress.
