I have been playing the Piano since I was five. I graduated from a specialized music school in Kiev and now I am a student at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. I teach classical, Jazz, and pop music. I have a very positive approach to teaching and will try to generate a motivating environment, as I understand that learning piano can be frustrating for some! My goal is to help you enjoy Piano as well as see steady progress.

About Me

For me, teaching is always a lot of fun! Especially, when after my explanation students start to realize how easy it is to do things which they were dreaming about. It also happened to me when I had to deal with the same problems. Since I have always been a classical pianist, it seemed to be impossible to do nontraditional things like improvising, writing music, having fun with other musicians by playing with them, music which we hear right now. The problem is that I didn't have a teacher who would share with me his/her experience, so my way was pretty long. I had to practice really hard and search for solutions at the lowest stages on my own, which caused finding out personal tricks which I am always so happy to share with my pupils. It brings such a joy to watch how students apply my experience and overcome challenges which they were struggling with before.

The story of my classical music development is completely different since I was always very lucky to have the best teachers. Right now I am studying from Naum Grubert who is considered one of the best musicians in Europe. After two years of classes with him, my understanding of music completely changed! Every lesson I receive new discoveries which I am also so happy to share with my students!

I have been playing the piano from 5 years old. During studying in Kiev I was actively taking part in international projects such as:
• Richter piano competition
• Horowitz piano competition
• International festival "Moscow meets friends" organized by Vladimir Spivakov
• Chamber music festival and masterclasses in Ede organized by Anna Fedorova, etc.
After moving to Amsterdam and starting my study at the conservatory, I gained a lot of experience in pop music by playing at church every Sunday and performing background events. Now I teach private students for both, pop and classical music.

Previously, I graduated from the Royal College of Music London with a First-Class Joint Honours Bachelor’s degree in Flute and Recorder. In 2021 I was a finalist for the Moeck/SRP recorder competition as part of the London Early Music Festival.
