I'm a 20 year old Spanish pianist who studies classical piano as well as jazz piano at Conservatorium van Amsterdam.

I've been teaching classical piano in Amsterdam for 2 years, and now I want to include jazz/pop and music theory as an option in my lessons. This way, students that are not interested in classical music can still learn how to play their favourite songs on the piano or compose their own songs!

I'm looking for students who are excited to learn new things, are ready to put in the work, but most importantly, that want to enjoy and have fun playing the piano and making music! ;)

Education

I studied classical piano in Spain since I was 9 years old until I was 18 years old, when I graduated Music School with the highest distinction. That same year (2023), I came to Amsterdam to study a Bachelor Degree in Music (Classical Piano). Now, I've finished my 2nd year and I'm very excited to continue my studies in classical piano alongside jazz piano for the next two years.

Expérience / Qualifications

During my studies in Spain, I performed in important venues around the country as a soloist (solo recitals with and without orchestra), but I wasn't interested in teaching. However, since I moved to Amsterdam, I started teaching classical piano lessons and now I want to dedicate more time to it and complement it with my studies as well as with solo concerts. Furthermore, I recently worked as an accompanist at CvA (Conservatorium van Amsterdam).

Graduated from a Master degree and a double Bachelor degree from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, I can help you developp your technical skills on the saxophone, your harmonical and rythmical knowledge, your sight reading as well as developping improvisation skills, through a pedagogical method that follows the student's aspirations, starting from wherever the student's development is at and moving on from there step by step.

I love to give guitar lessons in a relaxed mood that will not put pressure on you, only giving you feedbacks that will improve your practice. The first lessons will generally consist of covering the basics by learning simple songs. Depending on how it goes, we will go straight into learning songs that you want to play, where you will learn even more!
I can teach you how to play across several appointments during the week so you'll learn faster and enjoy playing straight from the beginning :)

Hello, I'm Lisa, just graduated and very excited to share my musical knowledge with you. I studied at conservatories in Brussels, London, Milan and Amsterdam and also completed a teaching diploma, so I am fully qualified as a teacher.

My name is Mathilde, I am a French violinist, pianist, harpsichordist, producer and composer.
I have graduated from the world’s great institutions such as the Royal College of Music London, Manhattan School of Music New-York, Brussels Royal Conservatory, and Paris-Sorbonne University (in musicology).
I have been performing concerts around the world in the most prestigious concert halls including the Châtelet Theatre and Seine Musicale (Paris), the National Opera House (Oman) and La Scala (Milan), as well as many other venues in Europe, US, China, Middle-East. During this period of time, I had been playing in the Orchestra Academy of La Scala in Milan for 2 years, and I am currently playing at the Metropole Orkest in Amsterdam.

With the experiences I gained over the years - including the teaching experience in the Conservatory of Cambrai (France) - I became an expert in teaching violin and keyboards as well as music theory, including writing and reading scores. I have been teaching to the different age groups and different levels of technical backgrounds (beginner or advanced). I can easily adapt myself to the level of each student to create a synchronicity and help them pursue their goals and wishes. I am there to help them as a teacher and a music coach for their musical career. I can combine different practices and teach basic techniques in repertoire that matches the personality of the student (from classical to contemporary, pop, rock and more). Based on the teaching experiences I have, I can consider myself as a teacher with patience, motivating style and an open mind. Next to my technical teaching skills, I am also actively involving in various musical projects. This will start by either understanding the foundations of music theory on one selected piece and slowly adding components to complete it such as emotions. My lessons can span any hours you would like, the minimum being 1 hour.
