Trusted teacher: Piano, harmony, music theory, aural training, arrangements and composition dedicated teacher. Vast experience with different ages and levels, preparation for international exams, auditions and competitions. "I am a superior piano professor and I have started teaching in Buenos Aires, Argentina, my home country, 8 years ago. Recently I was living in London, UK, where I worked as a full-time piano teacher in WKMT Piano Institute where I have trained and developed my pedagogic skills working with students from all around the world. This experience allowed me to mentor from professionals to early ages with very diverse backgrounds. These are the kind of experiences worth working for, and that confirm my engagement to my pedagogic aims. Building structures that fight to give a voice to the speechless is one of the values I learnt to care the most as a working woman, and that is the reason why I feel engaged with teaching music. Music is a tool to learn a whole different language and improve intelligence and creativity, no matter which is your background. Music is a way of finding how to express yourself in a specific language, and it is at the same time a fun and fascinating process. As a music teacher, I face a challenge every time I train a student, because learning music and learning piano implies a very personal developement. I continued this project in Rotterdam, Netherlands, where I became a Master of Music in World Music (Tango-Jazz Composition) at CODARTS University. I intend to keep sharing my knowledge and experience with new students."

Trusted teacher: Dear parents and students, I am a professional singer and pianist from Hong Kong, having more than 10 years of experience in music teaching. I graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong with a Bachelor degree in music (with honors), Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel with a Master degree in classical singing (with distinction) and also the Post-master degree in classical singing (with distinction). I am currently a professional opera singer working mainly in Germany with conductors and directors from houses and studios such as Theater Rudolstadt, Lyric Opera Studio Weimar, Komische Oper Berlin and Royal Opera House. I am a holder of Licentiate Trinity College of London (LTCL) vocal and piano performance certificates, both with distinctions (97/100 for voice and 90/100 for piano). Besides, I am a holder of DipABRSM piano performance certificate and ABRSM Grade 8 music theory certificate with merit. I have been giving private singing and piano lessons to students ranging from 3 to 50 years of age. Very happily, all of them had obtained distinctions at their ABRSM exams, some of them also won first prize at competitions. However, I do not teach music because of this. Distinctions and prizes are bonuses, but most importantly, I hope my students can enjoy and understand music. For beginners, I focus very much on building basic techniques. Alongside with that, I spend a little time on every lesson for ear training, music theory, music history, sight-reading/sight-singing, music composition, instrumentation and conducting, depending on the interest of the student. For more advanced students, I teach more about musicality and presentation. I aim to provide all-round knowledge to my students so they will be well equipped for future development. For piano students who are at the beginning of their music journey, I use a lot of creative ways to teach basic knowledge such as rhythm and fingering. These creative ways include colorful presentation slides, arranging a tailor-made version of the songs they like and introducing fun games to keep them motivated. Each student will get something different because everyone is different. As an instructor of vocal masterclasses for choir students in Hong Kong, I see myself as the person who: -- opens the door of fundamental vocal techniques for the students; -- influences them to be confident; -- shows them the beauty of human voice and vocal music; -- teaches them to embrace the others without judgement. My way and attitude of teaching was proved to be successful with a lot of positive feedback. I tend to plan my classes in detail, and give notes to students every lesson. In this case, the students can follow the lessons easily and make the best out of their time. I do not make my students always say "yes" and "okay", I like to work with them and they are always welcome to tell me their needs. Since I grew up at one of the best English schools in Hong Kong (Belilios Public School) and I have a lot of English-speaking students, I can communicate in English very fluently without accent. Besides English, Cantonese and Mandarin Chinese are my mother tongues. I am also knowledgeable in German, French and Italian. I am confident that I will provide my students the best learning experience.

Trusted teacher: Methodology The courses I offer are aimed at anyone who meets one condition: envy! Whether it concerns a child, a teenager or an adult, nothing can prevent the learning of music. The course always adapts to the wishes and desires of the student, his particularities and his abilities, regardless of age. I am in favor of a practical pedagogy where the first thing we touch is the instrument, contrary to what is generally found in academy courses where a year of music theory is a prerequisite for learning the piano. Here, the practice of the instrument, the theoretical notions, the notes, the rhythms and the musical culture overlap together to form a whole that wants to be coherent. I am also very interested in music by ear and I propose to the students to approach songs, also without partitions, just by listening and reproducing the sounds heard. Over the years, I have worked a lot with the students to bring a method related to play to the ear. This completes the classical training by being more independent and being able to arrange yourself the music that you like and that you want to be able to play. Students decide for themselves what training they want from the start. Playing by ear is generally more affordable and attractive. Classical training is the most demanding but it makes it possible to approach a very broad repertoire. This requires learning to read a score and discover the notions of music that we approach in a fun way, using board games, card games to facilitate and accelerate assimilation. The combination of the different techniques is my favorite since the program offered is more complete and more varied. Anyway, all requests are considered and we build together a course that will allow you to reach your goals! Update: For the past year, I have been offering distance learning courses to my students, being abroad at the moment. In this period of epidemic, this solution is good and allows to learn music, while staying at home. The material required is not very important, a computer, a tablet or a webcam is more than enough. course I have lived with this passion for music and its power for 22 years. I completed this musical passion by sharing and transmitting that I offer and this, for 10 years. Pedagogy, the art of communicating knowledge, how to respond to a desire to learn, these are activities that I find as fascinating as the practice of music itself. I went to live in Quebec and New Zealand and with these trips, I developed with my students this possibility of accompanying them in their learning, even while being at a distance. I am developing this online training project and for the moment, the lessons are given live, like a normal course, with certain modifications. In parallel, with my wife, illustrator by training, we develop board games and educational games to learn music. This project has profoundly changed the way of teaching and we are constantly looking for new simpler, more fun ways to practice and assimilate knowledge of music.

Pia
My 8 year old daughter signed up for a singing contest at school with no experience or knowledge in music. We did get in touch with Pia and she was able to give a few singing lessons within a short period of time. Yesterday my daughter performed very successfully in the contest. Pia is not only able to teach singing, she also has the ability to motivate and inspire and she has definitely awaken the interest in music to our daughter. We are very happy that we have met Pia and hope to see her again.

Lise
What a warm welcome by Lisse in her studio. We brought our daughter to her first piano lesson. She is just four but wants to play the piano and sing. Lisse understands the teaching very well and in a playful way she already learned some keynotes (and made her own composition). Lisse is well organised and that you see in the lesson. Our daughter is very excited about her next lesson!
