Trusted teacher: I offer private lessons in person in the comfort of your home. I look forward to work with beginners to advanced player of all ages. I can also practise with you additional to your main lessons with me or with someone else. The lessons can be held in English, German and also in the Czech language. I have studied musical degree with pedagogical focus in Prague Conservatoire in the Czech republic. Currently I am studying in University of Music and Perfoming Arts in Vienna. I regularly perform solo recitals, chamber music and solo with an orchestra. Occasionaly I teach in the state music school in Marienbad. My whole biography: Klára has started playing the piano at the age of four at music school in Mariánské Lázně under the guidance of her mother Marie. Since 2024 she has studied at University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna. Since childhood she has regularly participated in national and international competitions. In November 2023 she was awarded the 2nd prize at Soutěž Nadace Bohuslava Martinů, further she won f. e. the 1st prize at the “Broumov key”, the 2nd prize at the Ile-de-France international competition in Paris and the 2nd prize at the Fryderyk Chopin international competition in Mariánské Lázně. In December 2022, she received the title of laureate at the Prague Conservatory's international competition “Young Piano”, where she was also awarded the main prize "Young Piano Talent". In 2021, she won 2nd prize and a special prize for her interpretation of Stravinsky/Agosti's Firebird (1st prize not awarded) in the international competition Virtuosi per musica di pianoforte, 3rd prize in the international competition Bach's Way in Dobřany and 3rd prize in the Brno ́s piano competition. In the year 2020, she was awarded the "Pilsen ́s Orfeus'' award for representing the Pilsen region in the field of classical music, namely for the 3rd prize in the “Broumov key” competition. She has performed with several orchestras in the Czech republic. In the season 2024/2025 she performed with Janáčkova Filharmonie in Ostrava as a soloist of the first Tchaikovsky Piano Concerto. In June 2023 and 2025 she was invited to the Academy in Villecroze for masterclass. In 2021, she got the opportunity to attend the Ševčík Academy in the class of Lukáš Vondráček and Yuri Shadrin. Now she collaborates with Ševčík academy as an accompanist.

I have played piano for more than a third of my life and have experience playing classical piano, jazz piano and popular music. I perform regularly both with groups and solo. My experience with classical music comes from my grades with the Royal Irish Academy of music where I have achieved honours in grade 8 as well as a personal interest in classical music. I was a student of Kinsale local Billy Crosbie's who introduced me to jazz piano and I have been playing and learning about jazz ever since. Through this love for jazz I also began playing the saxophone to enhance my understanding of jazz music. I am currently studying post grade 8 jazz piano in CSM. I have performed popular music in Westfield, San Fransisco and locally in Cork, I play a wide variety of tunes, from Billy Joel to movie themes and classics such as Hallelujah.
