If you're new to auditioning it can be a daunting prospect. The first time I auditioned for drama school I was completely unaware of what to expect. I didn't know anyone who had been and didn't get any help with speeches or songs. It was a disaster and I was thrown out after the first round. Two years later, I reapplied fully prepared this time, and won a scholarship on the three year acting course at Mountview Theatre School. I can help with all aspects of the acting audition process: Vocal/physical warm up Managing nerves Making sure your speeches suit you Working on the text: Understanding - intention - intrepretation - and working towards the required standard for success What to expect at your audition Recreating a pressure environment; The dreaded panel, the waiting and staying calm under pressure I have over twenty years experience as a professional actor, and auditioned hundreds of times across all formats. I have appeared extensively in the West End and toured across the world, as well as being in over 40 TV commercials. As a tutor/director I have worked at Arts Ed, Mountview, Ravenscourt Theatre School. 'Rainer was instrumental in helping me win a place at LAMDA.' Daisy Redgate - LAMDA student. Thea got into ArtsEd! Thanks so much Rainer for all your patience and hard work!' Parents of ArtsEd student Thea Bacon. I'm also here for the pros too. If you need a sounding board/ line reader for a TV/Film audition Deciphering Commercials breakdowns to help you stand out Constructive feedback Self tape tips, Give me a shout!

Based on the global standards followed by Emirates Airlines in assessing Cadet Pilots, here is a detailed and comprehensive description of the test that explains the nature of the challenge and the skills it requires: Description of the academic entrance exam (Mathematics and Physics) This test is the first and most important step in the evaluation process, designed to measure candidates' scientific competence and mental abilities. It doesn't simply assess memorization of rules, but rather speed, accuracy, and the ability to apply scientific concepts in practical, aviation-related contexts. 1. Mathematics Component This section focuses on the computational aspect that a pilot needs to perform navigation and fuel calculations immediately. • Rapid mental calculation: Performing basic operations (multiplication, division, percentages) without using a calculator. • Algebra and Geometry: Solving first and second degree equations, and calculating angles and triangles (especially the Pythagorean theorem for calculating paths). • Data interpretation: Reading complex graphs and tables and extracting results from them with extreme speed. 2. Physics Component This section aims to ensure the candidate understands the natural laws that govern the movement of an aircraft in the sky. • Mechanics and motion: Newton's laws, speed, acceleration, and gravity. • Simplified Aerodynamics: Concepts of pressure, density, and how to generate lift. • Electricity and Magnetism: The basic principles of electrical circuits and understanding the circuits that support aircraft systems. • Properties of matter: Understanding the behavior of gases and liquids (Bernoulli's principle) and the effect of heat and atmospheric pressure. Trusted teacher: I’m a CELTA-certified English teacher with strong training in modern teaching methodology and over 10 years of online teaching experience. I currently work as an English language teacher on a project with the American Councils, helping learners build real, usable English for study, work, and everyday life. Before teaching, I worked at Tengizchevroil as an interpreter, so I know exactly how English functions in real professional environments, not just textbooks. My lessons are practical, focused, and designed to help you actually communicate. I’ve also learned Persian and Turkish myself, so I understand — not just as a teacher, but as a learner — how challenging (and sometimes frustrating!) learning a language can be. I know what it feels like to search for words, mix up grammar, and feel unsure when speaking. That’s why my lessons are supportive, clear, and motivating. In my classes, you will: • start speaking from the first lesson • understand grammar logically, not mechanically • build confidence for real-life and professional situations • learn English that sounds natural, not robotic My teaching style is structured but friendly — no pressure, no fear of mistakes, and no boring memorisation. We focus on progress you can feel and see. Whether you need English for work, exams, relocation, or personal growth, I adapt every lesson to your goals, level, and learning style. Let’s make English feel achievable — and even enjoyable. I’d be happy to help you reach your next level! Text me for more details.
