Rébecca - Grenoble222 AED
Trusted teacher: Within the Mask Voice Studio, Rébecca proposes to accompany you in the marvelous and exciting adventure that is the discovery of your voice! With gentleness, pedagogy and passion, she will help you gain confidence in your instrument. She will encourage you to experiment, to meet your voice and to progress, always with kindness! His lessons are intended for all profiles, from pure beginners to professional singers/actors and seasoned amateurs. She is also a coach for theatrical groups and professionals who use their voice on a daily basis (professors, teachers, speakers, lecturers, etc.). You will first see the principles of breathing and support of the singer and gradually all the mechanisms of phonation and the vocal tools: articulation, resonance, projection, use of the mask, control of the larynx and the diaphragm... Without forgetting of course the interpretation, stage setting and so many more! The first meeting will take place during a Discovery Session of 1 hour with the new students in order to get to know them and to be able to determine what their needs and desires are. On this occasion, a quick vocal expertise will be practiced which will make it possible to determine the pedagogical procedure to follow. Nothing to prepare, no pressure, just a handshake! Classes take place at the Rébecca singing studio near Place Saint Bruno in Grenoble. Are offered in addition to private lessons three concerts a year so that students practice the scene as well as internships throughout the year (thematic coaching, interpretation, collective practice) including a one-week musical comedy internship each month of July (summer 2022: Mamma Mia! / summer 2023: Beauty and the Beast).

Trusted teacher: • Do you like to sing, do you want to tame the possibilities of your voice? • Are you part of a choir and would like to gain vocal comfort and autonomy? • Do you need coaching to work on your stage presence, your diction, your interpretation? • Do you want to discover the vast vocal repertoire of early music? I would like to help you move forward on the long and mysterious path of the voice. Let's meet to learn together around this fascinating and multifaceted instrument, both the most universal and the most intimate. MY VISION OF TEACHING Trained as an opera singer, I have been teaching students of all ages and levels since 2015, individually or in small groups. I know the classical repertoire well, and also the so-called "old" music. But I'm interested in all styles: musical, variety, traditional... For me, teaching singing is: • stand next to the student, look with him/her to see what the obstacle is, and look for solutions together to overcome it. • always show kindness, empathy, patience, non-judgment. I ensure that these values are present in every lesson I give. COURSE DESCRIPTION Audience: adults, teenagers from around 16 years old. (For younger children, you can contact me to discuss it). Course of a typical lesson: • 1st part: warm-up and technical exercises (posture, breathing, resonances) • 2nd part: work "in context" on a piece (recovery of technical elements, diction of the text, interpretation) Individual lessons or in small groups (2 to 4 people). If you have any special requests, please let me know. If you don't know how to read music (this is the case for a number of my students): that's not a problem! There are plenty of ways to learn and progress. MY MUSICAL CURRICULUM My background is quite eclectic: after a university course in art history and archeology in France, I studied at the Haute École de Musique de Genève-Neuchâtel where I obtained a Master's degree in Concert in lyrical singing. . I acquired, during my studies and my professional activity, a lot of experience of choral practice, and I was able to attend many choir conducting classes. Finally, I had the opportunity to specialize in early music: Gregorian chant, medieval music, Renaissance polyphonies, 17th and 18th century baroque music, ornamentation, notation, theoretical treatises, facsimile reading... In summary, I like things that are off the beaten track!

Trusted teacher: I am a singer, musician, experienced for more than 8 years and I am a teacher of singing / vocal technique. I have a license in Musicology and a Masters in Composition of Music for the Image at the University of Lyon. I give private lessons in vocal technique in sung / spoken voice. My classes are aimed at both professional singers and beginners, actors, teachers, orators. You will discover and improve your vocal instrument. We progress at your own pace and in a fun way to move forward around your objectives, of course going through the key concepts, for example: - Discover new vocal possibilities in the bass and treble with greater ease and without tension. - Discover and appropriate the laryngeal mechanisms (chest voice, head voice), as well as access the mixed voice. - Develop resonance to gain power and freedom, enrich your timbre, play with it. - How to manage the breath and find the "right" vocal gesture in order to preserve the health of the vocal cords. - Discover the effectiveness of amazing exercises such as yodeling, twanging, improvisation, vocal games / sound effects, anchoring, letting go, Belting. - Learn to saturate slowly (if you wish) - How to manage your stage fright, tame it, Depending on your course, this may take precedence by awakening or anchoring bodily sensations (becoming familiar with them, becoming aware). Finally, thanks to exercises borrowed from vocal rehabilitation techniques, you will be able to sing or speak for a long time without tiring yourself in a healthy and comfortable way, recognize the signs of fatigue, protect yourself from it or even recover. If you want to learn to accompany yourself on the piano, this is also possible. Also audio and / or video recording of your songs, I have all the equipment you need! And since a course is better than a long speech, for everything else or for any questions, I'll let you contact me. Looking forward to meeting you and hearing from you. More than fifty students trained! * Visit my website to know the different movies, video games and advertising where I composed the music.

Trusted teacher: My classes are for any age and any level! I do important work on breathing and posture (essential aspects for accessing one's full vocal potential) with the "MDH Respiratory Coordination"* method, which was a revelation for me when I was able to see the rapid changes on my body and my voice. I have the pleasure of mixing this technique into my lessons :) Since these are private lessons, I adapt to everyone's demand. We can go together to discover your voice, work the vocal technique with specific exercises or through songs of your choice, explore the letting go, work the interpretation, the scenic expression, and many other things . My goal is to discover and reinforce what is present in the student, while keeping its authenticity. Sweetness, non-judgment, respect, exploration! If you want to do this way with me, do not hesitate to contact me. *“MDH Respiratory Coordination” The work of this method is focused on reducing muscle tension, in order to access its full respiratory capacity. This influences not only the functional state of the respiratory system, but also the voice and the person in itself. COURSE • Certificate of “MDH Respiratory Coordination”*. • Training of actors with Jack Waltzer, Paris. • Bachelor of Arts in Creative Musicianship (in arrangement, singing, film music, composition and performance) at the British & Irish Institute of Modern Music (BIMM), London. • Diploma in Popular Performance Music (singing and performance), BIMM, London. • Co-founder and co-manager of the folk singer-songwriter duo Marzella, created in 2009. Instruments: guitar, voice and keyboard. Concerts in Switzerland and Europe. Release of an album in 2015, then a 4-track EP, "Seasons of Life", in May 2019.

Maria is a very good teacher. I am an intermediate level student, so I was looking for someone who can give me nuanced feedback. Maria is really good at doing this, and helps with the tone and style of playing by leveraging her knowledge of violin, but also history of music, and the different styles. She pays a lot of attention in promoting dynamism and color when playing, so you get to make music instead of mechanically going through the score. She is very friendly and easy to communicate. I recommend her.
