About Me

Hello! My name is Mark, and I’m a professional pianist, music educator, and aspiring jazz musician.

Music has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I graduated from a professional music college with a degree in Classical Piano and have performed both as a solo pianist and with orchestras. Over the past year, I received scholarship offers from Berklee College of Music (USA) and Maastricht Conservatory (The Netherlands), where I continue my musical journey.

I enjoy working with students of all ages and experience levels—from complete beginners to advanced musicians preparing for auditions or looking to expand their skills.

My lessons are always tailored to each student’s goals. Whether you want to learn classical piano, explore jazz, improve your music theory, develop improvisation skills, write your own music, or simply play your favorite songs with confidence, I’ll create a personalized learning plan that works for you.

I believe that learning music should be both inspiring and enjoyable. My goal is not only to teach technique but also to help students understand music, express themselves creatively, and enjoy the learning process.

Lessons are available in English and Russian, both online and in person (depending on location).

Ik ben Mark, pianist en student aan Conservatorium Maastricht. In 2026 werd ik toegelaten tot zowel Berklee College of Music (VS) als Conservatorium Maastricht, waar ik ervoor koos mijn studie voort te zetten.

Ik geef pianolessen aan leerlingen van alle leeftijden en niveaus. Tijdens de lessen werken we aan pianotechniek, muzikaliteit, improvisatie, gehoortraining en muziektheorie, altijd afgestemd op jouw persoonlijke doelen en muzikale interesses.

Je kunt kiezen voor klassieke piano, jazz, improvisatie of een combinatie hiervan. Of je nu helemaal vanaf het begin begint, al ervaring hebt of je voorbereidt op een toelatingsexamen of conservatoriumstudie, ik pas de lessen aan jouw niveau en doelen aan.

Subjects that I teach:
1. Electric bass: Learn to play and understand jazz, funk, metal, R&B, pop or any other style with the necessary techniques (including slap bass, from basic to advanced).
2. Double bass: Learn the techniques and knowledge involved in playing double bass and apply them to playing either Jazz, or any other style.

Hello, I'm Jungmi, a professional jazz pianist and composer. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Jazz Piano and a degree in Jazz Composition from the Maastricht Conservatory. As the leader of the Little Big Jazz Orchestra, which I founded in 2022, I explore rich emotional landscapes through expressive melodies, intricate harmonies, and unique orchestrations.

My orchestra has received recognition, including a nomination for the Maastricht Jazz Awards, the Audience Award, and performances at festivals such as Jazz Out Fest and Make It Jazz Festival in Tilburg. We were also finalists for the Edmond Hustinx Prize and received an Honorable Mention at the Laren Jazz Festival 2024. Currently, we are preparing for our debut album release.

In addition to performing, I offer lessons in jazz piano, composition, and music theory. It can be jazz, pop and gospel music. Saxophone lessons:

Mathias' lessons are for both beginners and advanced students. The lessons are based on the student's desire to learn and be inspired, and it is important for him to be able to help develop and stimulate this desire.

Selected focus points in the lessons are:
- Sound and equality

Hello! I am an English saxophonist, guitarist, pianist and composer / music theorist, currently based in Maastricht, NL. I've been playing saxophone, guitar and piano for 15 years and after building a life around music and creative expression, it's my passion to share that with anyone eager to learn; at any level. I believe music can bring so much value to our lives, it can excite us and move us, give us a sense of purpose and identity and ultimately enrich us in ways we would never otherwise grow.
