My goal is to make people of all ages and levels learn not only playing an instrument but how can music help them in their everyday life. I am an Albanian violinist, with a Bachelor degree in Classical Music (Violin) and Musicologie in Sorbonne University. Over the years, my experiences with different youth and professional orchestras all around Europe have made me understand that music is important not only for professional musicians but also for everyone. I can teach in English or French and of course in my mother tongue Albanian.

Katherine has been vocally trained in contemporary for 25 years and studied classical voice for three years. After developing Muscular Tension Dysphonia in 2010 and not singing for almost two years, she overcame this vocal disorder after working with some of the best voice and voice rehabilitation specialists in the UK. This experience further motivated her interest in teaching the following to her students in contemporary voice* using knowledge and training gained by renowned vocal coaches, ENTs and voice rehabilitation specialists: - Vocal technique, health and hygiene - Guidance in voice rehabilitation with students experiencing or recovering from vocal issues - Managing Performance Anxiety - Breath control - Microphone technique and stage performance - Basic music theory - Artist development and mentoring Katherine has over 13 years experience in one-to-one lessons, teaching students aged 4 years old to 50 years old of all levels and has developed programs for small choirs. Currently studying music theory at an advanced level in the conservatory of Paris, I give lessons for everyone. I started my musical studies at seven years old in Lorraine where I got my music theory certificate in 2020. In 2021 I entered Paris' conservatory and progressed to where I am today. I has been more than ten years that I study musical theory and I am aware of the difficulties people can face learning it, especially children that tend to see it as boring. I discovered many different aspects of this subject and I would like to teach them to others while adapting to their needs and wishes. I have over 8 years of experience teaching piano, guitar, electric bass, drums, band coaching and music theory in a wide range of styles to all ages. I approach music tuition with the aim to instil a lasting appreciation of and enthusiasm for playing music, especially with kids and teens! I have over 10 years teaching experience both privately and in schools. Pupils have ranged from children through to adults. I am a friendly and enthusiastic teacher and my aim is to ensure that all my pupils enjoy making music and can work towards their individual goals, whether it be just for fun or preparing for music exams. I am also able to teach music theory, which not only helps with musicianship but is necessary if students are wanting to progress through to the higher music grades. I gained a Bachelor of Music and Masters degree from two of the top London music colleges; the Royal College and Royal Academy of Music. I am proposing class of Piano, Composition and Music Theory and writings. In the class of Piano depending on the student's wishes, we work on different methods, from learning music just as an activity to students who are wishing to continue their profession as a musician. Class of composition has the same algorithm as the piano class, the method selection is based on student's wishes. Music Theory is proposed in both classes of composition and piano on the side but for the students who wish to learn music theory separately with more concentration, I propose this class as a separated class too. Class of Harmony and writings actually has the same situation as music theory classes but students in the class of composition will be more specialized in harmony and counterpoint than piano students and of course, this course is proposed as a separated class too.

Music is a globally recognised form of expression that connects everyone of us in one way or the other. As a musician, I have tried to inspire people from different walks of life to feel the joy and love for playing the piano and creating music. I have composed music for multiple bands, have played for choirs and have accompanied many influential artists. I cleared the Grade 8 examination from Trinity College of Music, London in piano performance. My main goal as a music teacher is not just to provide training and lessons, but to inspire students to continue to learn and gain skills on their own and master the art of music composition. Classes can be provided at the student's residence and my classes will include a combination of aural training, sight reading and training in performance and composition (based on the student's level).

An ear training intensive course that gives students regular ear training and theory exercises to take home and practice. We use the studio piano, singing and can use either fixed Do system or an ear training system without the solfège names-- using vowels instead. The goal is to develop strong inner ears to be able to sing, play instruments and hear music more precisely. By the end of this course you will have discovered your voice, developed your inner ear and improved intonation on your instrument and had a lot of fun! Open to all ages. An intensive course focused on the development of hearing and music theory. We use the piano in the studio, the vocals, and there is the choice between a traditional solfège system (do-re-mi etc) or a system without solfeggio, using vowels. at the end of this course you will have discovered your voice, developed your inner ear, improved your accuracy on your instrument, and moreover we have a lot of fun!
