Toby is extremely talented, but beyond that, he engages my son deeply with the music itself, fundamental techniques, music theory, and even the interpretation of the music. Toby is kind, encouraging, and works with students at a level that is appropriate. He has allowed my son to chose music that if fun and interesting to practice, even though the pieces are challenging. In fact, I often sit in to listen to the lessons, as they are so good. My son has had a couple of lessons with Toby while company has been over, and everyone has commented on how amazing Toby is as an instructor. I can not recommend Toby enough and hope to continue lessons with him for a long time. Pamela B. I graduated from the conservatory and also graduated as a music therapist. I am currently training to become an orthopedagogue. As a result, I have a lot of knowledge and patience when working with children/adults who need specific attention. Think of people with autism, gifted children and highly sensitive children. Of course, you are also welcome as an adult with or without additional challenges. I myself have 3 children, 1 gifted and 1 highly sensitive. This has allowed me to teach these children with even more enthusiasm, understanding and patience. It is also possible to indicate in advance in conversation what your child will encounter and how violin lessons can help. For example, with autistic children, think of making contact, feeling. Gifted children experience extra challenges and learn to deal with the frustration that something does not work right away. Of course everyone is welcome with me! I've been working with Professor Volodja for some time and I have to admit that I've never felt better while playing and that I have never made much progress in such a short time. The energy that the professor brings to the teaching and his spirit make violin lessons incredibly fun and encourage even more effort and even more persistence . To all those who are interested in studying with Professor Volođa, I warmly recommend that they do so, because this is a man who demonstrates in the right way what zeal and love for music a musician should have.
