My name is Junhyung An (a.k.a, A.J), a Jazz guitarist, composer, researcher, educator.
Currently performing at various different vanues in Europe, but teaching always has been another passion of mine.
- Degree: Bachelor/Master of Jazz guitar performance and Music education degree from Rotterdam conservatory, Currently working as Doctoral (PhD) researcher in music (!)
- Former guitar teacher of the Amsterdam guitar academy
- Various experiences of masterclass giving at conservatoriums in the Netherlands and Korea
- Experience of leading students to get accepted at several music conservatories (e.g Codarts-Rotterdam conservatory, HKU-Utrecht conservatory)
- Music style : Jazz, Pop, Rock, Math rock, Finger style, Funk, Fusion, etc... ("I am very confident in teaching the most of guitar styles exist.")
I am also experienced in giving lessons for composition making, song-writing, music theory.
