I am a Professional Conservatory graduate with experience performing in string quartets and orchestras. I am also a Sound Engineer and Music Producer, which allows me to offer a broad musical perspective beyond instrumental training.

Whether you want to start from scratch, prepare for exams, improve your technique, develop your ear, or deepen your understanding of music theory, I can help you achieve your goals.

About Me

I am a violinist, Sound Engineer, and Music Producer with a background in classical music and a passion for helping others discover and enjoy music as much as I do :)

I graduated from a Professional Conservatory and have performed with various orchestras and string quartets. Alongside my classical training, I work in sound engineering and music production (under the name Alba.), which has given me experience across a wide range of musical styles and creative projects.

I enjoy adapting my teaching to each student’s interests and goals, whether they are looking for a structured learning path, exam preparation, or simply a fun and rewarding musical experience. My aim is to create a positive and supportive environment where students can develop confidence, creativity, and a genuine love for music.

Education

I hold a Professional Conservatory Degree and a BA (Hons) in Creative Audio Production & Sound Engineering from Catalyst. Throughout my musical career, I have performed as a violinist in orchestras and string quartets, travelling and performing in a variety of concerts and events. Combining my background in classical performance with my work in sound engineering and music production allows me to approach music from both an artistic and technical perspective.

In addition to teaching, I have worked in professional recording studios as a Sound Engineer and have composed music for media projects, gaining experience in music production, recording, mixing, and creative composition. Music production is one of the most exciting ways to create and express yourself musically. In my Ableton classes, I focus on helping students turn their ideas into finished tracks, while learning both the technical and creative sides of production.

I am a Sound Engineer and Music Producer, with a BA (Hons) in Creative Audio Production & Sound Engineering from Catalyst. I have professional experience working in recording studios and composing music for media projects, which I bring directly into my teaching.

Whether you are a complete beginner or already producing music, my lessons are fully personalised to your level and goals. We can work on:

Drums, as with bass guitar are the backbone of any good song, and the foundation upon which the music is built. Despite not being as famous as lead vocals or lead guitar. Drums in my opinion is much more fun, at all levels of performance.

I will teach you how to play the drums, how to fit the style to the genre and we will learn by practice by breaking down the famous classics, and explain what part drums played to make these classics so good.

We will use my electronic drumset, which is not as good as the real thing but is definitely good for starters. There are ways you can practice at home without a drumset as well. And we can expand later and rent a studio room, where I can jam with you on the guitar even!

Hi there, I'm a professional violin and viola teacher, teaching in person and online, in English, German or Russian.

Alongside teaching 1:1 and coaching chamber music over the last 12 years, I've led numerous workshops, including ‘Music First’ and ‘Music Masters’ in the UK and taught on the Primary and Senior Arpeggione Viola Courses run by Jacky Woods, coaching some of the UK’s leading young musicians. As a member of the European String Teachers’ Association, I have participated in ESTA conferences across Europe, including at the European Parliament in Strasbourg, and in Valletta, Europe’s cultural capital in 2018.

I regularly prepare his students for auditions, competitions and exams at all levels, and has a holistic teaching style incorporating music theory, aural and sight reading skills and physical awareness. Many of my students have won regional and national competitions and have been accepted into specialist music schools and youth orchestras.

Outside of teaching, I performs internationally as a soloist and chamber musician, recently including at Kings Place London, Elbphilharmonie Hamburg and Philharmonie Berlin. I received first prize at the Małopolska competition, the Barbirolli Prize at the Lionel Tertis International Viola Competition and the Len Lickorish Memorial Prize at the Royal Overseas League International Strings Competition.

I hold a Masters degree with first class honours from the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler Berlin, where I studied with Tabea Zimmermann, and the University of Arts, where I studied with Lawrence Power, as well as a Bachelors degree with the same distinction from the Royal Academy of Music in London, where I began in the primary department 20 years ago.
