I have played piano for more than a third of my life and have experience playing classical piano, jazz piano and popular music. I perform regularly both with groups and solo. She has a solid theoretical foundation in music teaching, composition, and piano performance. Second, a kind attitude with patience, as well as proper pedagogy for different levels of students. She has taught students who easily pass ABRSM grade 8. She also possesses excellent patience with young kids under the age of six. During the last ten years, her goal has been to solve an important issue: how to make students interested in piano playing. Most kids who learn the piano would give up before or during their teenage time. However, 99% of them regret it when they grow up. In Christina's lesson, she will acknowledge to the students and parents clearly what difficulties they will face during the process of music learning. It's more important that students learn to develop a good habit, a worthwhile hobby, and the perseverance that will benefit their whole life. About the class: This class aims to prepare for the ABRSM piano grade 1-8 test at a more intensified pace. The student is supposed to possess certain musical knowledge or required piano skills. The teacher will help the students develop their missing skills to pass the exam. Different students may require different class lengths. For a child under the age of six, the teacher recommends less time for each class but a higher frequency. Kids who took the piano class twice a week and half an hour each class usually progress faster than those who took it once a week. For kids who practice longer time, it is also advised to take the course longer time. A child who practices two hours a day could play Beethoven's Fur Elise within one year, but for a child who practices less than half an hour per day, this goal usually takes more than four years to achieve. For adults who have greater self-control, it is advised to take the class for a longer time per class but with less frequency. About the price: It’s not fixed, depending on the distance. If the travel time is less than half an hour to the students’ home, the price will be the same as at the teacher’s home.

I cannot find a word that can explain my appreciation for Christian. She is a patient , responsible, and good teacher. She really try very hard to help my son William to understand theory . William hate theory to now he understands very well. Christian knows that he got limited time to do his grade 5 exam which required by school . She only use 2 moths to help him to got distinction. ( which I only think he could just pass) I was so lucky to find her in this website which we had changed 2 teachers before in UK and HK who fail to make theory interesting for William. . I ll recommend Christian to anyone who I know and want to improve their music now she is teaching my daughter piano I am so looking forward to see her improvement and enjoyment for music.

What a warm welcome by Lisse in her studio. We brought our daughter to her first piano lesson. She is just four but wants to play the piano and sing. Lisse understands the teaching very well and in a playful way she already learned some keynotes (and made her own composition). Lisse is well organised and that you see in the lesson. Our daughter is very excited about her next lesson!

I took a few lessons with Lasha so far and I had a great experience. Lasha is diligent in preparing the material for the sessions and he adapts the lessons to my specific level and to what I prefer to practice which allows me to progress in the directions I'm most interested about. Otherwise, Lasha is an easy going and nice person and I can happily recommend him to other students.
