Are you willing to learn drawing or painting? Do you wish to improve what you already know? I graduated from an art school where I learned all the important classical techniques of drawing, painting and sculpture. I would like to pass on the knowledge I have acquired through my studies and practice and give those who so wish the opportunity to go on a journey into the world of art and improve their language and technique. The lessons are open to all levels. The techniques covered range from drawing with pencil, charcoal and pastel chalk to all painting styles (watercolor, oil, acrylic, tempera). You have the opportunity to experiment on different types of paper (with different weights and colors) and canvases. The topics change from lesson to lesson and can range from the human body to the landscape to the wildlife, depending on your preferences and desires. Particular attention is paid to the method so that the finished work is clean, pleasant and as expressive as possible.

conversation + Conversation + is a new conversation based format that combines grammar, syntax, understanding vocabulary and expressions as well as the practice of correct pronunciation and intonation with the reading of a text of your choosing. On the basis of a selected text the conversation evolves around the topics at hand; parallel to this, we discuss anything language-related that comes up. Any question, any problem can be addressed. In this way, linguistic issues can be explored in greater depth, based on your specific field(s) of interest. This fosters a stronger engagement, promotes enthusiasm, and openness that oftentimes fall short in a classic language course situation. Fields of interest include literature - we read a book, poem, short-story, etc philosophy - we read german philosophy in the original, or secondary work on the subject art - texts concerning art, theater, music etc. science - scientific articles, specialized literature about science politics - newspaper articles, essays, etc. contemporary culture - articles, esssays, etc.

Come and discover wool as a material for creative expression ! In this course you will learn how to use wool to create your own felt fabric. Using the wet and needle felting processes you will be able to create a variety of 2D to 3D artworks and crafts. Achieve illustrative/abstract images, as well as sculptures, objects, and accessories. Each course is guided by an idea focused on a specific material finish and it's method. * The program to get a complete introduction of felting consist in 4 lessons of 1 h 30 min each. (Longer project tutoring is available on request.) * Material is included in the general price. * Price for individuals and groups varies. The program is adapted depending on the age * Language of teaching : ENGLISH, SPANISH, FRENCH. You will learn: · Wet felting. Needle felting. Fading, collage, inserts, vessel methods. · About the felting use and meaning in history. · Cultivate awareness on natural material and empowerment through DIY culture and tools. · Understand physical transformative processes (how water, heat, and friction transform matter). · Develop self-confidence, motor skills, and an authentic creative language, while developping patience and introspection trough and experimental and somatic approach.

I offer introductions to both black and white printing (with the silvergelatin process) and film processing, in my studio darkroom. The workshops run for a minimum of 2 hours. Up to a maximum of 4 hours in one time slot is also possible. Paper and chemicals used during the workshops are included in the price. Class 1: Introduction to Black and White printing with the Silver Gelatin process 2 - 4 hours - Introduction to the Darkroom and the Enlarger - Chemical preparation - Printing a test strip - Finding the exposure time for the highlights - Choosing the filter for the shadows - Dodging and burning Bring your Black and White negatives (formats possible: 35mm, 6x4.5, 6x6, 6x9) or print with mine. Class 2: Introduction to film development (35mm, Black and White) 2hours - film development using Rodinal with a preshot reel of 35mm 4hours - I will demonstrate first how to shoot a test reel to determine the exposure range of the film. Then we will develop it using Rodinal. Class 3: Advanced printing workshop: printing Black and White with the Split-Grade technique using Multigrade filters or Colour filters (Magenta/Yellow). 4 hours - Printing a test strip to achieve the main exposure time - Printing with two filters and adjusting the main exposure - Understanding how the change in filter affects exposure when using two filters - Varying the exposure times of each filter to achieve different looks - Dodging and burning with two filters or more Additional possible tutorials: - Solarisation - Flashing prints - Developing tricks - Black Borders - Selenium toning - Pushing and pulling film I also offer custom workshops where I can give advice technically or creatively on your project (minimum 3 hours booking). I personally dedicate myself to working with glass and pressed flowers and leaves for beautiful frames and jewelry but we can also build terrariums, glass boxes or anything that sparks your imagination I have all the supplies at home so all you would need is an active mind and some creativity, if you then find that you enjoy creating with glass I can help you find the right tools so that you can make stained glass at home.

Illustration, traditional drawing and digital art course. This course focuses on the search for a personal language or the student's style, in which different techniques and styles, both traditional and digital, will be worked on to help the student find a language with which they feel comfortable and make it their own. All this through traditional techniques as well as digital ones, such as Photoshop, Zbrush, Cinema 4D, Illustrator, etc. Specifically, we have extensive experience in using Photoshop. In addition, advice can be provided on specific projects to be developed, graphic narration, conception of ideas and concepts about a project, development of characters, unification of style of a long project. The idea of this course is the search and focus of the student's personal language through references and the exploration of different techniques until reaching their own unique language.

I offer drawing, painting, and 3-dimensional sculpture courses and opportunities for students to explore the different mediums and create an impressive portfolio. I will prepare students to develop their interest in three-dimensional work. Students will be creating work with Cray and 3-dimensional materials. The course will begin withdrawing lessons, model building, and work in clay. Later students will experience mixed media sculptures with other materials. I’m a DJ and music production instructor with 15 years of experience, founder and instructor at DJ School Berlin. I also run my own label and organize events. My classes take place in a relaxed, intimate atmosphere, and are fully focused on your needs and goals. I teach both fundamental concepts and creative techniques, while supporting you in the development of your artistic project I also compose music for media (trailers, films, ads, games, etc) and perform live focusing on sound exploration and experimental performance. I have studied Lecoq Technique(Pantomime, Tragedy, Drama, Mask Theater, Clown) and Decroux (Mime Corporel). These are physical theater approaches. I am passionate about moving the body in space and the effect it brings. Finding the humor in the physicality and rhythm delightens my everyday life and I am happy to share the fun. I am an artist and philosopher from Amsterdam currently living in Antwerp. I studied in London where I acquired a BA from Art Academy London and a BA in philosophy from St Mary's University London. Artistic development starts by identifying your artistic interest. As artists, we don’t always know why we draw and paint the things that we do. Yet they are not random. What captivates us or draws us towards certain artworks? This might be the tonal way in which light reflects, structural forms or mathematical division. The point being, is that we all have such aesthetic interests and step 1 is finding out what interests you! Step 2 is helping you express your interests through painting techniques, styles and materiality. But it all starts with you. What do you want to say? And how? I will help you do this through discussion, looking at your previous work (if you have any), introducing you to a LARGE variety of artists, potentially copying their styles. I adjust my classes according to your needs. The goal is simple: to come to understand your artistic interest, help you find techniques to express them and develop your artistic language. (Please note that just because you have found an artistic interest and a way to express it, it does not mean that you must do only one thing for the rest of your life. It is the downfall of creativity to repeat and paint the same way over and over again. Instead, allow your interests to drive your creativity. Let it be the starting point, venture out and discover it from various angles and ways of expressing it. But also be mindful that as we grow our interests can change and as they change, we must remain honest and respond accordingly such that our artistic language can also grow.) Have questions? I am a visual artist born in Barcelona, settled in Belgium since 2017. As an artist I have accumulated experience for the last 25 years. I am graduated with an Academic Bachelor in Fine Arts in the University of Barcelona and graduated as a Master in Visual Arts at Sint Lucas School of Arts in Antwerpen. I am specialised in painting, drawing, experimental films, installations, language, sound and curating. In other words, I am a multidisciplinary artist. I understand the artistic practice as a way to understand ourselves and the situations which surrounds us. In my classes I don't teach how to do Art, but as how to say something through your artistic work. With me you can work independently, with a coach who will challenge you with some assignments and giving feedback to your personal concerns. In addition, you will learn how to work with several mediums, preparing your own material: paintings, canvases, and so on. You will not only receive individual coaching but as encourage you to look other artists or take into account other references connected with your concerns. Finding, discussing and retaking solutions together are the core of my classes.
