I studied in Italy at the Conservatory of Music in Pesaro and I finished my piano studies with the maximum points. Currently I have a duo with a violinist and we play regularly in concert and at the same time I teach and transmit my passion to those who want to learn it. I taught for 3 years in Rome in public and private music schools and currently I teach at the International School of Geneva. My students have often participated in piano competitions and have always achieved excellent results. My lessons are adapted according to the progress and desires of each student. The duration of the lessons is not standard because I make sure that the student does not finish without having fully understood the topics explained during the lesson. A part of music theory and solfeggio is planned.

I base my lessons on the alliance between learning music theory and practicing the instrument. This allows for more interactive teaching. My lessons are usually 1 hour long; or even 1 hour 30 minutes depending on the relative intensity of each person. I am demanding with my students but without pressure. I want to teach this discipline to make it a passionate discipline. I am a student in a double music-studies course. I started music when I was 5 and participated in international competitions. I had the honor of participating in important regional concerts in France and Tunisia. Having obtained 2 diplomas recognized by the Royal Schools of Music, I want to pursue my passion which is to teach ambitious young people and to make them as passionate as me.

The 5 string banjo is an amazing instrument. It's driving trademark sound and it's African roots has contributed to many music traditions, including Country, Bluegrass, Blues, Jazz and world music. In my class you'll first learn the basics, how to hold and pick and read tablatures. We'll then go through how to play a tune, accompany other instruments and finally, improvise. During the year I'll teach you basic music theory like rhythm, harmony and a bit of ear training to help you develop your understanding and relationship to the instrument. We'll mainly play Bluegrass Scruggs style at first, then we'll dive into melodic style and sigle string, that will all be useful for playing other kinds of music, like Irish music, Pop, Jazz or Blues. Any requests for a personalised class is welcome. If you'd like inspiration or you want to listen to so fun music, go check out my website !
